What's new

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

There is so much more that goes into who is a greater threat than GDP.
The term I used was 'capable', not 'greater threat'.

My point wasn’t about Russia and Italy at all. My point was in how we, the United States, pretend Russia is so much more powerful than they actually are. They aren’t Ivan Drago hunting the Red October while plotting the Red Dawn invasion. It is 2021. They are entertaining dashcam videos with an economy smaller than Italy’s and led by a 5’5” guy in platform shoes who sounds like our 80’s movies. That is reality. The myth of Russia being a master manipulator of world politics is cartoonishly ridiculous. There is only one and a half of those on the world stage right now and Russia isn’t the one or the half.

America first, right??? I mean what’s more patriotic than booing your country’s team at the Olympics? Trumpers are such **** wads

This seems illegal:

Read the article, it explains why republicans are working so hard to control individual state election boards. That way the next time this happens, they can declare their state elections void and kick it to someone else (controlled by Repubs) to decide.

I'm certainly not in a position declare legality, but it feels unethical.

Didn’t want to start a new thread over this. But this is a major problem. Whether it’s with elections, presidential behavior, or Covid misinformation. Americans are doing the work of our foreign adversaries because we’ve become so partisan as a society and clickbait media and outrage social media thrives on salacious and often inaccurate information.

This really complicated matters for governing and security.

The problem is not only the outgrowth of the peculiar climate created by Donald Trump—however simple and satisfying such an explanation might be. Think, for a moment, about why the Russian state indulges in this kind of activity, year in and year out, despite the political costs and the risk of sanctions: Because it’s very cheap, it’s very easy, and a lot of evidence suggests that it works. For decades now, Russian security services have studied a concept called “reflexive control”—the science of how to get your enemies to make mistakes. To be successful, practitioners must first analyze their opponents deeply, to understand where they get their information and why they trust it; then they need to find ways of playing with those trusted sources, in order to insert errors and mistakes. This way of thinking has huge implications for the military; consider how a piece of incorrect information might get a general to make a mistake. But it works in politics too. The Russian security services have now studied us and worked out (it probably wasn’t very hard) that large numbers of Americans—not only Fox News pundits and OANN broadcasters but also members of Congress—are very happy to accept sensational information, however tainted, from any source that happens to provide it. As long as it suits their partisan frames, and as long as it can be used against their opponents, they don’t care who invented it or for what purpose.

Ex-Trump White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman has claimed that former President Donald Trump would sometimes chew on torn-up documents
I guess that's one way to get your fiber.

Regardless if that's how he uhhhh disposed of documents, mishandling of classified documents seems inappropriate, right? I'm sure all the posters who whined incessantly about Hillary's emails will likewise be outraged at this:

The National Archives and Records Administration discovered what it believed was classified information in documents Donald J. Trump had taken with him from the White House as he left office, according to a person briefed on the matter.

The discovery, which occurred after Mr. Trump returned 15 boxes of documents to the government last month, prompted the National Archives to reach out to the Justice Department for guidance, the person said. The department told the National Archives to have its inspector general examine the matter, the person said.
And this definitely seems illegal:

Plans to seize voting machines, asking the Sec of State in GA to give him exactly the number of votes to win, and asking Pence to "overturn the election" smells like sedition to me.

Then there’s this…

Very sad that some of you still believe anything on main stream media. Trump and his team are much smarter than the idiot dems who stole the election. Remember when Biden was like the 8th most popular democrat running against Trump and had no chance of winning a primary let alone the democrat race. And then Trump started hyping him and bringing attention to him so the mainstream media slowly built him up and then somehow he was placed as the democrat leader and then he won 25% of the legal vote (and only because mainstream media is bought and paid for by democrat allies seeking power/money) but was still installed as president. Biden is the racist, cognitively challenged, completely compromised puppet that you were taught to believe Trump was and Trump knew he would sell America to China and lead us to communism. It's all being revealed now, and those of you that hate Trump or are democrats really should bury your heads because democrats won't win another election in your lifetime.

Literally everything Trump was accused of doing (Russia collusion etc) Biden has done and is involved in. Have you seen how much the Bidens have made from Ukraine/china/russia deals? Trump has never been racist nor has he done most of the things some of you regurgitate from the lying media (mean tweets he did do). This movie is almost over and most of you that project on here will not enjoy the ending. This is the Great Awakening worldwide, and Trumps goal was always to give the power back to the people. It was an easy job once Biden and Kamala were installed because together they have the iq of room temperature. The colossal meltdown of CNN, MSNBC, etc. has been fun to watch but it's sickening that people were ever able to be manipulated to the extent they were. Maybe you've noticed the 30 demonrats and five Rinos that are retiring and won't seek reelection, there will be many more. You were told that would happen, that some would take deals instead of prosecution, others won't be so lucky. Many will hang for what they've done, including those that John Durham will be bringing to light in just a short time. Any of you familiar with Conplans, Peads, devolution, mil-dec? Literally nothing is as it seems.

Lol. The algorithm is working well on you. Trump is glad you are part of his flock.

Then there’s this…

Trump's main problem is that he let the wrong kind of people into the White House. His administration was continually infested with people who would do anything to make him look bad.

In today's world, the printed page is nothing. It's all in the electronic, the desktops, the printer memory chips, the phones.

It takes a lot of hard work to fish paper out of the toilet and plumbing, and a whole lot more to reconstruct the faded/mushy paste. Not tomention the piss and crap. Sure it stinks. But you get to literally reconstruct it all any way you want. If you'll do this to "Get Trump" you'll stoop to anything, even just lie about it all.

And, besides, where's the chain of custody/ the paper trail in all this. This is not evidence, it's bunk.

Maybe Trump just didn't know how to use the three seashells.

yah know......... everywhere I go visiting, all my friends have a seashell collection on their toilet tank lid. And the toilet paper roll, or even a stand with five rolls stacked.

It's all redundant if you've got dependable sycophants, or even a reliable pig. Filipinos are perhaps more civilized than we'd think. Their Nipa Hut design has bamboo slat floors and a pig pen underneath. Don't even need diapers.

But somehow, I'd think Trump, sitting on a solid gold bowl, would go for style more than substance. I'd bet he uses sanitary wipes with fragrances. Or maybe a gold spout that dispenses perfumed, lightly sanitized warm water, or wine. Now that would be a great way to do the job.

For sure, he's grown tired of the ordinary ***-kissers.

Apparently people who do not know how to work a toilet.

Well, today if you believe the news, you'll believe anything.

Trump the Chump was the most absused President in history, beginning with "insiders", all the way through the bureaucracy and military and the corporate big shots and media. A lot of people in his predicament would have folded and tried to live a life of anonymity somehow.

It could be argued that more people lied to him than lied about him, or that even his own "defense" was lies.

In eighth grade I had a history teacher who faced the same sort of predicament. He was a misfit as a teacher, was a bit small, bald, and wore bifocals, but could neither see what was going on in the back of the room nor read his lesson notes. Kids openly mocked him, and when he got upset he sputtered pretty bad. It was a no possible way to win gig for him.

Trump was amazing because he couldn't be run down like that.

As a candidate he didn't even win his own campaign with strategy. Rather, there were so many Americans who just absolutely couldn't stand their Establishment government, as soon as they realized he didn't need anybody's money to run and could possibly be a fresh start somehow for us, they packed the stadiums for him. Whenever he stood up, the winds of change just roared.

Nobody in America wants the old Bush/Clinton club running America unless sthey're milking it financially for whatever it's worth. Unless you actually believe in a future belonging to the fat cats somehow, Trump appeared to be the only way out.

I never paid attention to him until he called the Clintons to tell them he was running, and my conclusion from that was that he was going to be Hillary's "Perot" to divide the republicans and let the Clintonistas win. After all, he gave them big donations, and went to the same damn parties.

I still don't know if he's playing a "Straight Man" for the globalists to suck up all the possible real conservatives. When he does his deals, he's plenty good to the big shots all around the table.

But Americans just hate communists and socialists and progressives so damn much, and even the UN and all the corporate elites. Anybody who will stand up and let that wind fill their sails will win in American politics. The old liners are dead.

When you have a reality like that behind you, you don't have to be cute, smart, rich, or a smooth talker. All you need to do is stand up and tell the crowd what they want to hear,

Knowing how to flush the toilet isn't a qualification for winning an election.

LOL. You act like trump was some victim. He LOVED the negative attention he got. That is what he wanted and strived for. He needed an enemy to attack at all times so he created some. Its the only card he had to play since he knew he couldn't actually govern or lead worth a damn.

What’s really hilarious is that low information voters still think trump helped them economically when in reality he attempted to do the exact opposite.

* He attempted to strip them of health care. First, through repealing the ACA and then second through the Supreme Court. Remember how he was gonna propose a health care plan “in two weeks” that was going to cover everyone while lowering costs and then never did? And if his DOJ had gotten the court to strike down the ACA? Then millions of trump voters would’ve lost their health care:
* Remember his landmark legislative achievement that did nothing for most Americans (and actually raised taxes on some in the middle class) while giving a disproportionate share of tax cut funds back to billionaires, like Trump?

For the first time in American history, the 400 wealthiest people paid a lower tax rate than any other group

* Trump’s last budget proposed cuts to entitlements. LOL how would that have helped the “forgotten man?”

Trump might’ve campaigned as a populist but he governed (if you can even call it governing) as a greedy Republican. His economic policies disproportionately aided the big donor class. Although, he shoveled just enough culture war red meat to keep low info voters satisfied and entertained. As we see here with @babe
