Nice Guys Finish Last

There's no way this isn't a projection.

Negative, I don’t project I see clearly.

Donovan has his flaws. He could give more effort on defense 100%. He is undersized.

He’s also one of the best playoff performers of the past 10 years. He scores 26 PPG on pretty decent efficiency. He’s a great three-point shooter. He gets about 5 assists per game as well.

No other fan base talks **** about their superstar like this one does. Then you wonder why Jazz fans get a bad wrap.

Probably because no one on the currently feels sense of team. Most of the roster probably thinks they are about to get traded.

Also players do things on stories a lot that dont get picked up by people. Then a day later someone points out "omg there are no post on his twitter about it" and everyone freaks out because the story no one cared about a day ago is now gone.

Or maybe Rudy was really good in small doses with the media. We all know people like that. Good salads man so to speak. But anything of substance, any real conversations are tough to be had.

I’m guessing he was a pretty aloof dude. Nothing wrong with that per se. He was concerned about himself and doing his job. But it’s tough to be embraced and be a leader with that personality.

Meh. Some do. Nets fans about Kyrie and Durant. Probably Bulls fans about Levine. And others.

Okay but you have been jumping down the throats of everyone who believes that Donovan will leave or demand a trade due to many reputable reporters all saying it, and now you want to put people on blast who "only like the message if it fits your narrative."

Jazz beat writers literally said Rudy was a bad teammate but not a single member from the Rudy cult fan club said a word about it.

speaking of narratives why is jazzfanz full of moronic Donovan stans? unreadable. gonna be descending right back into my cave at this rate

- George

This is definitely dalamon. The cave reference gave it away. We all know he’s in a cave in Afghanistan planning his next jihad.

Such a nice guy. Selling out teammates to the media. Touching guys' stuff without their consent in the lockeroom.

Stand up guy. Sounds perfect. Yall should keep crying about him after he's been gone for days now.

Rudy is gone. Quit crying

No, the incessant bitching and whining about Donovan every single day is obsession driven.

Bro, you act like we havent explained this to yall dozens of times.

Everyone recognizes Rudy Gobert is probably an ******* of a teammate, but we dont care because he's doing what we want a ************ to do. We want accountability on defense. We want dudes challenging each other, being uncomfortable. Yeah Gobert didnt play that role perfectly and maybe he shouldn't have made it as public. But the majoirty of us dont give a **** cuz we know for it to get to that level was because they werent responding to it on a more private level.

Don slacks on D and doesnt pass when he should. Oh he also got the trainer everyone loved fired. Then the next year Joe Ingles tore his ACL and wont retire as a Jazzman potentially because of Donovan Mitchell.

Donovan didn't talk to Rudy for months after the NBA shut down because he made the most minor, banal, not even problematic COVID joke ever. The most bizarre pretext for the most childish NBA beef I've ever seen.
You think Donovan called him on the phone?

- George
Nah but others guys may have. Donovan has not said anything about the Jazz this summer. It’s a sign to me… nothing I’ve seen about new or old coach… other than the unnerved article… nothing about guys coming or going… nada. He’s very active on the socials so it’s more pronounced than say Bogey not saying anything.

What about accountability on offense? Teams were able to small ball us to death in the playoffs largely due to the fact that Rudy couldn't score against 6'5 guys in the post. Was here for almost a decade and never developed even a basic post game.

Donovan also is one of the best playoff performers of the last 10 years and is a mother****ing beast. Stop your ****ing crying already.
