Hard to complain when the rookie gets 11 assists but 2/12 from the field with 5 turnovers hurt us tonight. It just seemed like they happened in crucial moments.
13 games into the season is a great time for him to work that stuff out though. Generally, you should hold back a little with rookies, but it is way too obvious that Keyonte is the answer, both now and long term.

Looked like a great defensive play to me, was probably the right call. Don't think landing space matters when it's a loose ball, and the instant Durant blocked the shot it is a loose ball. Just like the contact on the arm doesn't matter after the block neither does the landing zone. Anyways, I hate talking about refs. Could not care less about talking more about it.

Most disappointing thing about the call is that distracts from another poor performance. This team is a mess, no idea what they're doing on defensive coverages. There are some individual moments of brilliance, but this is not a good team. Lot of brutal mistakes down the stretch.

As far as I’m concerned, Hardy lost this game for us when he put Key on the floor 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter, and not only that, but he kept him there for the overtime periods. Key cannot defend (yet?), and he was our worst player throughout the game tonight despite his assists. THT, who played terrific, should have been playing instead of Key. Key looks to be a good, and maybe a great, player for us after a few years (perhaps even sooner), but when the game is on the line like it was tonight, he should not be on the floor “learning” from his rookie level plays and mistakes (unless our intention is to lose).

Yeah, apparently player safety goes out the window if you touch the ball first on a shot. Great analysis here buddy.

Landing space clearly matters. If you block a shot and land on top of the guy right after, that's not a no-call.

We don't know if THT was following the game plan, not hustling or injured. Hardy had a reason for not playing him,

There were a lot of pathways to arrive at the conclusion that it was a foul, but the refs ignored all of them to focus on the one pathway where it wasn't. On a review where indisputable evidence is needed to overturn.
The call just blew and I can hardly wait for Adam Silver's justification. That being said if Lauri were to make all three free throws there would have been another OT to play.

Anyone else having a particularly difficult time listening to Bolerjack this year? I mean, he has always been a little rough, but has never really bothered me much. But this year has just been brutal for me to listen to. Nothing personal, I am sure he is a nice enough guy and I know he has been through a rough stretch.

It is actually a no call. Just like the contact to the hand is a no call because the shot was blocked. It is no longer a shot, it's a loose ball, and that is certainly not a loose ball foul. I just know I'd be pissed if the teams were reversed and that went against us.

Man, I really hate ref talk. Agree to disagree....or not and just tell me I'm wrong lol. Who cares.

Broadcast is on mute for me. Boler and Thurl were bad to begin with.....way too much cheesiness. I used to be ok with it but now it's in overdrive. Holly added a weird 3rd dynamic and is so biased. She's much better on National TV stuff where she's impartial IMO.

Almost all of the local broadcast teams are terrible....so maybe I'm just not the key target audience.

That call is so bad on many levels. Durant landed in Lauri's landing space. That is automatically a foul for player safety purposes. Terrible.
Particularly when you compare the contact to the phantom foul on Laurie that sent Durant to the line for three earlier. When it takes that long to reverse an obvious called foul that the entire world can see, gotta know the fix is on. Just absolutely disgusting!

He’s not ever been my favorite but didn’t listen to him tonight (game was on mute as I had family over). He was never sharp but it’s only gonna get worse now that he’s older.
