Taylor Hendricks Hype Thread

Sounds interesting. Link?

Just checked it out on Amazon.
I will almost certainly read it. I like the length. My favorite book length is between 300 and 700 pages. I read some that are shorter and some that are longer but that's the sweet spot and looks like yours is just over 300.
That's cool that you wrote a book man. I'm very impressed

Fishonjazz, I hope you enjoy it! All you other JazzFanz, if interested in seeing my book on Amazon, pm me and I’ll send you a link.

Play better than them? It's not like he's been incredible.
Hasn't he already?

It's not like he needs some kinda of incredible effort to beat a performance of 8pt on 8 shots with 2 boards, 0 ast, 2TOs and 4 fouls in 31 min.

Listen, I'd much rather see Hendricks over some old vet who won't be with the team next year. But saying that you don't know what he needs to do to overtake them in the rotation implies he's been clearly better. In reality, he's played limited minutes over a few games, and barely did anything. Simone has definitely been a lot better.

But better or not, I'd rather see Hendricks.

I would like to see a starting lineup of the three rooks, Kessler and Ochai with Lauri, Collins, Sexton and Check as reserves. Everyone else can go to the beach.
You do realize those starters would get destroyed in an embarrasing fashion? Im not sure if any NBA team has ever fielded a lineup with less collective experience than that group, let alone against opposing starters.

What would be there to gain besides mental scars?

Ok this cop hate is really starting to piss me off. Sure there are bad cops. There are also amazing cops. My son is one of those. You never hear about the cops that go to Walmart and buy, with their own money, a bike for a kid that had theirs stolen. Or the time he gave stuffed animals to kids whose parents are idiots and get arrested for doing drugs infront of their kids. Or going and giving a ride along to a child that has down syndrome and love police officers. He drives by every day to wave at him as he waits outside to see him.

So please stop all this negative talk. They have a hell of a job that gets no respect.

This doesn't even cover the PTSD they suffer from people pulling guns on them or being so high on drugs they get physically injured from trying protect every one else from these people.

Please give a little respect for these men and women who have sworn to protect and serve.

Oh yea my son also have 2 life saving accommodations this year. That means he has brought back to life 2 people that died or were dead when he arrived.

I think he should overtake their minutes even playing worse than them.

I appreciate your son's service, CJA. Where would we be without police? I sure as hell wouldn't want to be without them. I appreciate what they do for sure. There are a ton of amazing police officers. But there are too many bad cops. Unfortunately it has become an us vs. them situation because of those bad cops. The best thing police forces could do to clean up their increasingly tarnished reputation is deal with those bad cops themselves.

"Bad cops" exist, but I think it kind of comes with the territory. If you wake up every day and deal with some of the stuff they see daily, it taints your view towards humanity. I don't work in Law Enforcement and I am glad I don't. I have a few buds who do and hear the stories and can see their world view being tainted by dealing with the dregs of society.

We have two foster kids. Being part of that program has given me an all too intimate perspective on the results of the drug culture - in particular on these kids. One visit shifts your perspective. A daily dose is a big deal. The social workers involved end up pretty unfeeling and with a tainted view even though they are the most amazing, warm hearted people going in to their careers.

I think it's easy to label law enforcement as BAD or GOOD but the society we live in surely taints really good people's views and makes them bitter... and when you get people who may not be really great individuals and they see the same things... it has an effect that we are all feeling. It's like the phillipino work force who are constantly viewing YouTube posts flagged for being extreme and who have to delete them. They don't last in those positions very long without shifting their world view in a negative way.

Labeling the entire police force as BAD or GOOD is very simpleton. Drug culture... Guns... Violence... BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Hendricks gets better and better with every game. 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block tonight including a team high +25.

He’s just oozing with potential especially on defense. He’s just so active. I see an all-defensive team in his future.
