They would need to win the lottery. It's 1-4 protected, otherwise to Portland.I dont think the Warriors even own their pick.

<Looks at trade deadline>11 games against Houston, Phoenix, GS, Lakers remaining on the schedule. Lots of must win games.
Yeah... I am not sure what his desires are. Some say they want to convey the pick this year but who knows. I'm not sure if he pulls the plug on something this year's draft is the main motivation. I could see him not seeing the return for KO and JC being all that great and just decide to wait until the offseason to do moves.<Looks at trade deadline>

100% this.Clarkson is probably worth more than some deals that are getting thrown out there. His contract will be extremely team friendly the next couple of years.
That would be awesomeAt this point my price from the Warriors would be Moody and a first if they want KO and JC.
Ya for this reason KO is who I would want to trade first. Clarkson contract is sweet. Might want to keep him around for when we are serious. Cheap contracts and guys who out play their contract are always nice to have around.Clarkson is probably worth more than some deals that are getting thrown out there. I was worried his early slump was a bit prolonged and thought maybe he was slowing down a bit. It'd be hard to trade him while on a heater but we have to remember the JC cycle. If you didn't have Collins and a Lauri renegotiate and extend on the table this offseason then the 14M next year really wouldn't matter to us... but if you are keeping Tech and KO while doing an extension for Lauri then JC needs to go most likely... similarly if you are keeping JC then KO likely isn't coming back.Clarkson is probably worth more than some deals that are getting thrown out there. JC and KO are in that zone where they are definitely worth more than a couple/few seconds but likely not dragging in a first on their own. I'd see if I could get a late first this year or a pick swap for next year... but if all you could find is an expiring and 2-3 solid seconds I don't think you are hurting yourself all that much by settling. Detroit owns Washington's second rounder this year... so it will be 32 or 33... Get that and another second for JC? Something in that value window would make sense to me.
Would be nice. It’s been deemed a sellers market for a while though… like since the play in became a thing. There also just aren’t a ton of firsts out there since so many teams have moved them or are limited by the Stepien rule.I've heard this will be a seller's market at the deadline, with lots of buyers and not many sellers. Maybe that inflates our guys value a little.
If it's between Clarkson and KO then you gotta keep Clarkson. Figure Key and Sexton could up their minutes. Ochai too. I think there are options either way we go.If it's between Clarkson and KO then you gotta keep Clarkson. (Maybe you meant Collins when you said JC though?)
At the bigs we have Lauri, Kessler, and Collins and I would like to see Hendrix play someday. We are pretty deep there.
If Clarkson is gone then we have ochai and ........ That's about it and ochai isn't very good yet. Super thin there.

the play-in tournament creates more buyers as 4-6 more teams have playoff aspirations.I've heard this will be a seller's market at the deadline, with lots of buyers and not many sellers. Maybe that inflates our guys value a little.
