Part of me wonders if the reason Olynyk/Collins played together to start the 4th is because Hardy eventually recognized that he wanted to close with Kessler against OKC's starters instead of Collins, which required a bit of emergency shuffling.

Kessler had only played 15 minutes. He was fine. You should never have Olynyk and Collins even if you have to involve Yurt7.

You know, there's a good chance that Ainge still intends to trade Colin Sexton at some point. He's like Danny's Isaiah Thomas in Boston.

It would have been fine if Kessler started the 2nd half, but since he came in at the 6:48 mark of the 3rd quarter I don't think it would've been viable to play him the entire remaining 18:48 of the game with no rest.

I think Hardy just realized too late he needed to play Kessler more.

Jalen Williams 11-14, 4-5 3PT

Almost normal for him and he's a #12 pick in 2022.

I mean, we have done it before. He's like 22. He would have been fine.

I mean, Cason has been fantastic and Keyonte has near all star upside. It's not a diss.

They're different players. The argument against Wallace is that he's not dynamic enough to be your lead on-ball guard. But as a 3D guy, he's a nice player--e.g., Avery Bradley, DeAnthony Melton, etc.

Hardy just did what has got him wins. Every lineup/player had several opportunities to put the Jazz over the top and they couldn't sustain runs.

Keyonte had some bad turnovers early that made it hard for those lineups to have success. You live by a rookie sometimes you going to die by a rookie.

Walker also missed a key FT that would have changed the complexion of the final possession due to the Jazz being down 3 instead of 4.

Thunder had a 89 offensive rating against the Jazz’s zone tonight. That’s actually insane.

Thanks man. Needed some validation that Hendricks and Wallace are different players. It's so hard to tell sometimes.
