tough when you're known as a shooter and you're that inefficient shooting the ball.

I think he shot 45% from 3 in high school.
 
How would people feel about a Fears pick at 5.

I go back and forth on Fears so much, lol. I think he has easily the highest ceiling in this class other than Flagg and Harper, but man, he needs to get REALLY good at shooting to reach that ceiling and that's going to be hard.

Yeah, as a 6'2" guard he may be shifty and creative with the ball, but to really impact the game he needs to develop as a shotmaker. Guys like Lillard, Kyrie, Garland, etc. are very high-level shotmakers, and Fears isn't that at the current stage.

I'd rather have Kon than Fears and I don't think we should draft Kon.
 
However, if we did the trade with Philly that got us the 3 and the 5, we took Tre at 3 and VJ came off the board at 4. I would at least stop and think about Kon at 5. Still probably go with Ace, but Kon covers so many holes. . .

A Tre + Kon draft would be fascinating. 2 of the best shooters in the draft.

Could Tre play point? So we could put Kon at the 2.

I assume PG would play and not get bought out.

The lineup could look something like

Tre
Kon
PG
Hendricks
Kessler
