let's not be ridiculous, Josh Howard is worth at least throwing in some Olive Garden.
Funny how, again, these forums are so much smarter than the Jazz FO..
I hope you guys have sent resumes to each team in the league, its only a matter of time.

That's right! No opinions for any of you. You will shut up and fall in line like the good little Mormons boys and girls that you are. Just nod your heads and go along with everything.
are you kidding? carroll has very little positive impact on the offense. he is a subpar offensive player.
Everyone speaks of Howard being a bench guy and gets minutes with injuries, which is fine. The problem is that's not reality since we have a coach who feels obligated to play him.
He had an injury that caused him to randomly jack up shots that had no prayer?Amazing how folks judge Howard based soley on his post-injury performance. It appeared to me he was thrust into the lineup before he was really ready, and he played poorly. BEFORE that injury, he did play a whole lot better than Carroll did later. IF we can get Howard at a decent price, I would rather have him starting in the event Marvin had an injury, than seeing Hayward moved to SF and screwing up our SG rotation. A team can NEVER have too much depth, and I'm sure that's what the Jazz are thinking... W/O a super-star a small-market team needs to play solid basketball, even when they have some injuries, to stay competitive.

He felt "obligated" to play our wing who was the most effective on defense?
If Williams is an effective defender (as he has been touted to be) and stays healthy, I don't think you'll see Corbin feels obligated to play Howard.
We praised him for heaving the ball into the air at random intervals?in fairness, he did that before the injury too... and even got praised for it. his aggressiveness when he was in the second unit was something he was seriously lauded for by the local media and by fans... including many on here. i think we just got tired of it when he was starting and taking those shots away from g-time, paul, al and devin that it started really bothering the masses.
