Sensabaugh and Hendricks watch thread in gleague

It’s crazy to me that people don’t see the infinity examples of dudes that drop a few bad lbs and then are better at a sport that emphasizes speed, endurance, and jumping and to a lesser degree strength.

Who knows though… maybe someday we will see someone “eat their way into the league”.

Also crazy that some people can't comprehend unique cases exist

Stars with an 18 point win vs the Nuggs JVs. Juzang with 31, Preston a triple double and Potter a double double and the leading rebounder. All the Stars starters including Big Ken and Bazely looked really good. Seriously Hardy needs to show Key this is how we run the Jazz offense.

Lofton with 52 points 16 boards vs the Ignite. Bazley, Justice and Kinsey in double figures. No Potter, Juzang, Preston or Langford. The Stars haven't lost in awhile.
Is anyone else worried that the rookies leave and all of a sudden the stars are a powerhouse?

The Stars record is much better without Tay Henny and Brice than with them. I would think the front office has noticed this too.

Hendricks' shooting percentage is pretty much the same between the G-League and NBA. He clearly has way better rebounding numbers in the NBA. I don't know what his deal was in the G-League but as a rookie he's starting to look pretty good for the Jazz. Brice has been more typical - played better in the G-League and has struggled some in the NBA. Of course more is expected from Hendricks but for being a 20 year old PF rookie he's doing just fine and has played about as well as I expected.

Infection picked this up about 4-6 weeks ago where the front office was pretty much saying Tay Henny sucks. That is curious coming from the guys that drafted him but maybe they realize they made a mistake. I think Tay Henny has had some good and not so good moments with the varsity.

Hendricks is still just a kid. He's shown he has legit defensive potential and he's super athletic. He's shooting pretty well for a rookie and is no doubt adjusting to the offense and the NBA. I'm sure the assistants are helping him a lot day-to-day.

In fairness to Tay Henny and Brice, they were replaced by guys that had 4-5 years college experience when they were called up from the Stars. That is a big difference even playing at the GLeague level.

Stars with a 42 point win vs the Ignite. Nick Ogenda, Elijah Cain and Isiah Miller over 20 points, Ogenda the leading rebounder and Kinsey the leading assist guy. Bazely and Lofton got a lot of rest tonight.

Stars with an exciting win vs the Spurs JVs. Kinsey the leading scorer, Preston with a triple double, Potter and Bazely with double doubles and Lofton with 11 points. Isiah Miller played a strong game off the bench. The Stars and Spurs were tied in the standings before tonight. All of the Stars starters looked like NBA role players tonight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kinsey getting called up to see if he can guard NBA players. Dude shot 54% from three and shot 60% in the G-League from the field so I think he deserves a look.

You'd have to waive someone. Kinsey isnt on the Jazz.

The Jazz did Kinsey a solid by signing him to the 10 day. I suspect we see him in summer league and fall camp with a deal.
