2016 NBA Season Notes/Info

I'm just guessing here but I think it's probably 60% for Championship, 40% for better fit + not having to deal with Westbrook.

I know that they hated each other since the beginning but when it comes to ringless superstars of NBA, it's always 100% about the ring. If he believed there was a chance at OKC, he would push Russ away instead of leaving. This is not my idea though. I think they would compete hard this season and maybe win if he stayed at OKC.

I post, therefore I am.

True. Maybe it's more 70% him wanting to win the ring and 30% better fit + running away from Westbrook... LOL ...

It's like when I broke up with my ex-gf. How much of it was because she's cold & un-attentive? How much of it is because I think I can find someone who's a better fit?

I think it's 50%-50%, but even I don't know exactly the percentages.. haha..

Wow. Called it.

That was a good call! Nice work.

Question: has Nurkic really been solid defensively? Every guy that I follow on basketball, says that he's been awful. The most vocal being a guy that follows the Nuggets closely. Long term it may help the Blazers, but not this season.

Yeah, Nurkic has been a terrible player this year. Terrible efficiency in the post, terrible rim protection numbers (like 8% worse than Plumlee), and turns the ball over frequently. I don't see how he fits in Portland at all.

Denver got fleeced big time though. Why would they want Plumlee? He can't play next to Jokic so is he just coming off the bench?

Strange trade for DEN.

Plumlee is a really good passer and playmaker. I'm pretty sure him and Jokic can play together at least in some limited minutes. Nurkic and him couldnt play together cuz Jurkic is a **** blackhole.

Some crazy triple double from Jokic vs GSW tonight, 17,21 and 12. Kid will be all star next year.
