Hmm.. top 3 all internationals. Has that ever happened?Generic Mock Lottery: Topic, Sarr, Risacher, Holland, Williams, Buzelis, Knecht, Sheppard, Saluan, Dillingham, George, Furphy, Smith, Filipowski/Walter
in a stronger draft, he's well outside the top 10 imo, simply due to his lack of size and he hasn't shown a lot of playmaking chops (though, i like his playmaking and how it will project at the next level) like say trae young who would be a nice comp in terms of a small scoring guard. in this draft though, i think he has a shot at top 5. probably goes before Sheppard. dillingham would immediately be one of the top 5 quickest/fastest guys in the league.Rob Dillingham is really intriguing.

Yeah I bet he slips a bit further than he maybe should. He’d certainly be a tough fit for us.I mean, I think Dillingham is a top 10 prospect in basically every draft, it just falls on the individual teams appetite for an undersized guard who is a bad defender.
tough fit for most teams which is why he's not a top 10 guy in 80% of drafts. even as good as trae young is, which is about dillingham's ceiling, it's just really hard to win in today's league with a diminutive guard playing big minutes.Yeah I bet he slips a bit further than he maybe should. But teams are doing it.....tough fit for most teams which is why he's not a top 10 guy in 80% of drafts. even as good as trae young is, which is about dillingham's ceiling, it's just really hard to win in today's league with a diminutive guard playing big minutes.
which is why i would have a hard time passing on him starting at around 5. hell, maybe earlier. he's damn good. at some point the talent is too tantalizing. But teams are doing it.....
It's hard to be good as a diminutive guard, but if youre good youre good.
He will be the first rookie that is also the oldest player on his team.Knecht is averaging 25-6-2 in SEC play on 54/44 splits.
His season stats would be much higher, but at one point sprained his ankle during non-conference play and had 4 single digit scoring games in blowout wins.
This draft has a few older guys that I think could carve out nice roles. Knecht is the obvious and we have talked a little about Kolek but Terrance Shannon and Kevin McCullar both look like players that can provide quality minutes.Old guys...
