I like it. My only concerns are...

- I feel like if we keep Hill and sign Teodosic then we've completely given up on Dante. I don't like how we utilized him last year. I feel like we've continuously held him back in some ways. And this would be more of the same in his contract year. He would be entering FA as a former #5 pick and we'd still probably not know how good he is or isn't.

- Favors. What's the long-term plan with him?

Because they could take on salary dumps for high character guys and collect assets in the meantime. I don't think a 3/45 gets him out of Utah... if they go 4/60 it messes up extensions.

When rebuilding teams acquire good character vets to help with rebuild they aren't that long of contracts.

Dudley, Lin, Booker, those types of deals rarely go 4 years and aren't super overpays... not saying it won't happen... it just isn't logical. The magic also have some salary issues with prior bad contracts they have handed out.

Really it's sacramento... to worry about if you want a crazy offer.

Huh? Yeah sign vet guys at the right price or on a short deal. You think someone going to offer 4/60 for Jingles... hell they could offer 3/60 and get Iggy.

If it is 3/45 we match or just beat it with a decent 4 year deal... no bottom dweller is offering 4 years... I stated examples and stuff.

We gave Joe Jesus 2/20 that's smart... had we done 4/60 that's illogical.

They will sign and trade Millsap... they are rebuilding and I just don't see handing that cap space to Ingles as prudent if you want to rebuild. They should take on salary dumps... like would they rather take Anderson at 3/60 and get a pick plus a shorter contract than Ingles at 4/60.

Oh I wasn't saying they'd offer Ingles. I was responding to a list posted saying that the Hawks had no cap space.

Plus there are only what, 3 good available SF's this year? Hayward, Igoudala, and Gallinari? Ingles is the 4th.

Dallas, Denver and Minny are the only logical other suitors with room.

Illogical suitors such as Sacramento and Orlando could join, but my guess is they wouldn't offer 4 years.

I think we offer him around 4/40ish to open up negotiations more than room MLE and is a fair offer. I don't see him first on the list and if he waits too much money could dry up... plus he likes it here. I could see someone going 4/50... I think we'd match it though.

I don't think Dallas is logical. I think ingles is a win now type of signing for a team that is already really good who needs a specialist line ingles to fill a hole and role at a lacking position.

Isn't Dallas rebuilding?
