".@spidadmitchell has been the team's leading scorer — both in total points and points per game — during the 10-game win streak. He's the first rookie to achieve that feat since Wilt Chamberlain on the '59-'6 Warriors. #TakeNote#KiaROY"

Ben Simmons is quite the specimen, and I've been a fan of his for years; I couldn't blame anyone for voting him ROTY.

But I'm more and more convinced that Donovan is better--both now, and in terms of future potential. He's on pace to make more 3s than any rookie in history. His combination of scoring and TS% hasn't been achieved by any rookie guard other than Michael Jordan. At this point, nearly any hyperbole is justifiable when it comes to Donovan Mitchell.

Donovan's got Next, bitches.

The way Simmons scores, he will never be able to take over and close a game like Donovan can. Is it wrong to call Simmons the ultimate complimentary player? I`ll take Donovan. His play is more infectious.

I'm sorry but in this day and age where Centers can shoot 3s (Embiid, Lopez, Porzingis, etc), a forward who plays like a guard but who can't/doesn't shoot 3 doesn't deserve to win the ROY in my book.

The level of physical play Donovan is having to play through is off the charts. Can’t remember seeing teams come after a guy like this tbh. The fact that he’s still killing it is amazing.

My favorite shot from DM last night was the last shot in the video. It was a simple pull up 3 with 5 minutes left (which followed a spectacular bucket by him). To that point he was struggling, and I was like "no, don't take that shot". He made it, and you knew he was ready for the end.

The video missed his best plays from late in the game last night and his two big buckets late against Portland btw.

He is perfect in every way. On and off the court. Literally perfect
