What's new

Donovan refuses to say whether or not he wants to be in Utah moving forward

I find the whole thing super annoying.

I dont care if Don wants to be here or not. It has no impact on what's best for the franchise. He's under contract for 3 more years. This question is only really relevant to me in a contract year.

YOu trade Donovan cuz he's an *** defender who isnt a true leader. Not because he doesnt like Utah.
Man your whining is getting old. Maybe you should start another thread.

I didn’t see the postgame ao I don’t know what else he said. But if he admits he’s part of the problem and wants to do whatever it takes to fix it, then I definitely want him to stay.

If he just throws his teammates under the bus without looking at himself, then I hope the door hits him on the way out.

Yeah, another year of Donovn saying he will work on his defense in the off-season then he comes back doing this ****:

Lol. One authentic consistent account.

How you feel about your boy Conley? You feeling lonely on that hill?

Even you gotta admit it was an awful trade now. I mean, if you weren't...what did you call me? A coward?

I gave him a freaking F for the playoff run lmfao. What the **** is up with you and your minions (if you want to act like they aint your alts) acting like I never criticize MIke Conley when I clearly do.

Does him having ONE bad series make the trade terrible? No

I'm not a reactionary bitch like yourself.

The trade was good. I don't play the goofy hindsight game where I think any move that didnt result in a ring is a fail.

Was it the best move they could have made? Probably not

Should they have gotten Conley a year earlier and it would have worked out much better? Definitely yes

I have never ever started another account on this forum.

I have never "recruited" any other person on here to align with my points.

I say what I say with the utmost amount of conviction and honesty. Sometimes I'm wrong, but often times I'm right.

The Conley trade was unnecessary. It was a massive, unnecessary reach. We were all begging for a stretch 4, and we got that guy in Bojan. There was no need for Conley but we went and sold out for him anyway.

The trade ruined our era with Rudy and Don. **** happens. Time to adjust. Sure as hell ain't Don's fault as much as you try to make it seem that way.

lmao yeah, the trade ruined it. Donovan Mitchell being a space cadet on defense is Mike Conley's fault.

Whether or not you think the Conley trade was good/ok/bad/terrible, to act like it was the thing that "Ruined" the Mitchell'Gobert era is completely asinine. When you have the critical thinking skills of an inbred backwoods Alabamian I dont expect much different tho.

I don't blame him for wanting to leave if that is what is really true. I don't interpret this as him wanting to leave. The way this team is built the Jazz have no chance of winning a title, baking the cake and staying with the same guy's year in and year out is what has got the team where it is. It is obvious that there was some issues with team chemistry because the team just seem to self destructed time after time. Blaming one person is ridiculous. The franchise and players have failed. Now as the Jazz aged other teams were rebuilding and getting better. Significant changes have to be made if there is any hope of competing for the championship. Jazz need more play-makers and defenders. Our bench looked better but in the end JC is the only guy who can create his own shot. Not developing Butler is another issue. Bring in Conley and overpaying for him to return is another example of mismanagement of the roster. I find it hypocritical when fans bash players, make trades for them and believe rumors and then cry when DM doesn't say he wants to stay. So loyalty is one-sided.
Yeah poor Donovan he's never been given anything he wants. Poor guy, I mean he hasn't had his *** kissed beyond belief to then go out there play absolutely no defense, never hit a 3, chuck shots all series, and then say "poor me" when they can't even beat a short handed Mavs team. If Donovan was half as good as he thinks he is, we would have won this series. Period. Loyalty is saying "No I have no plans on demanding a trade, I just want an avenue to win". If you want to win so bad Donovan, start by not looking so pathetic and lost on 90% of defensive possessions. He didn't play like he wanted to win this series at all. Poor poor Donovan, so picked on. Dude has literally got people fired over one little thing.
