I hope you'll be completely wrong. I expect Exum to eat up all of Neto and Burks' minutes. And I expect him to eat into Rubio, Ingles and Royce's minutes a little bit. Frankly the future of this team and seeing what pieces fit are more important than a 1 year playoff run. It's fun to chase the playoffs like this but I want to see how these young guys react to making that run. And I'm hoping that Exum is one of the guys helping with that.

Jazzfanz think the only way to get better is game minutes. They don't believe practice helps (despite everything the announcers said over and over and over during last game after a long time off). Practice doesn't matter to most here, only live game time. Don't you know that's how Corbin ruined Burks, Favors, Hayward, Carroll, Kanter, Gobert, Hood, Clark and Evans?

Minni's next 5 is BOS, GSW, WAS, SAS, HOU. They could easily go 0-5. SAS could lose their next 3. But the key is Utah winning 8-2 every 10.

Absolutely zero chance? Lmao

The Lakers don’t have “absolutely zero chance” of making the playoffs. That is just a dumb thing to say when we are 3 games behind with 18 to play. Not to mention the difference in ease of schedules. I honestly have no idea how you even come to that conclusion. We could be a game behind the Spurs by the end of the week easily.

I wish I could muster that kind of enthusiasm. You must have some really nice rose colored glasses. We haven't played well enough in the games since the all star break to compete with any of the teams ahead of us, even if we did manage the 5 seed. Perhaps this will change, but I wouldn't wager on it. (This is definitely one time I'd like a big ole dish of crow however.)

Agreed. The difference between 5 and 9 may only be a half a game to a game. It is a tight race. With a potential tie breaker in our favor, I could see six just as easily as 8 or just missing the boat. With our strength of schedule, I think sixth is very possible, and 5 or 6 is what we need.

This has us in 8th place. Half a game nets us 6-7. A full game would put us tied for 5th. Unfortunately if we end up tied with Minny, they will most likely have the tie breaker even if we beat them on April 1 as their division record is much better.

If the Jazz get 5-6 they can win a series IMO.

ffs don't be so literal. I don't mean zero mathematical chance. Seriously we'd have to win probably 15 of our last 18 games to get the 5th seed. Ain't gonna happen. We might still play really well and miss the playoffs. I'll bet you .. if we get 5th seed i'll change my profile name from Downunder to Douchebag k ???

San Antonio 3-7
Minnesota 4-6
OKC 6-4
Denver 6-4
Clips 6-4

All of these teams have a tougher schedule going forward, and we play a few of them.

If fantasy mathematical land maybe .. practically the teams ahead of us just aren't gonna lose enough and frankly i don't think we're playing well enough. 7-8th seed sure higher i just can't see it happening. If the Pelicans hadn't won all these games i'd be more inclined to think that way. I
