don't know about ginger pickles .. pickled ginger, maybe? Yes.

JAPANESE. GINGER PICKLES (fresh) ("Gari" )

Ingredients (500g or 18 oz.)
500g or 18 oz. ginger
15 g or 1 oz. of salt
4.5 g or 1/6 oz. of citric aced
50 g of 2 oz. of sugar
569.5 g or 20 oz. of total (375 g or 13 oz. Yield)
Directions
1. Peels skin of the ginger.
2. Add salt, citric aced, sugar
3. Keeps in the refrigerator for 4 days
4. Cuts verry thin
5. Keeps in the refrigerator, pH 4

That's cool, never thought about making my own. Might try it out.
 
you guys are wellcome,once i finish my business here in turkey,i will be back in bangkok first week of april

If I ever went I would be deathly afraid I would never make it back to my daughters. Not scared of the place but scared of what I would do in a place like that.
 
If you go to a surf and turf place where I can get a steak and lobster while you guys eat that crap I will buy.


Careful, I have a place in St. George. Now if there was only a good steak and lobster joint .. pretty sad that the best would be something awful like Red Lobster or some **** like that.

have you gone to that Elk Lodge or whatever it is on north bluff? Past sunset. They have buffalo, and elk and prime rib...not bad. in the 25-55 range for an entree.
