Ohhhh I can't wait for the PG_AB rant about this. Too fun.

That's exactly why I've been updating this thread.

Bump.

Heard he had a promise to the Hawks at 15, but if the guy can be a top-5 pick in next years draft then good for him.

Croatian NBA prospect Dario Saric, I'm told, has zero workouts scheduled ahead of the draft.

Wow. I don't think GMs like this guys smug attitude. Maybe he free falls all the way to 23.

Saric clowned himself by talking all that trash about Wiggins and Jabari then getting swept in the Croatian League Championship. I could see Phx taking him though.

If I was Porzingis' agent I'd have done the same thing, mission accomplished. His value is somewhere in the mid-teens in this draft, but thats not good enough. Kristaps is better than Cauley-Stein, hes going to have a great season for Cajasol playing PF so his value is safe and can only go up.

Karl Towns Jr > Porzingis > Myles Turner

Last finals game was June 10, they got swept. June 16 would have been game 5, so he had to plan with this. So after June 10, earliest he can work out semi jet lagged in the USA would be June 15, because after finishing the finals there's some media appearances that these players do.

Saric would have had no practice whatsoever in doing these drills, that Andrew WIggins has been practicing for since his NCAA exit in late March. I doN't think he would have looked good.
There's tons of game tape about Saric and if I'm not mistaken he has done a public workout over there in Croatia.

True!

I also don't think Myles Turner is going to become a good pro. Very disappointed with everything I've seen of him so far.

other International Players withdrawing from the draft;

Guillem Vives, Moussa Diagne, Rasmus Larsen, Joonas Caven, Mateusz Ponitka, Nedim Buza, Adin Vrabac, Marcus Eriksson.

With Porzingis out now there's a few extra spots in this draft to be had.

Moussa Diagne was the last player on my board id draft. Now that distinction goes to Ioannis Papapetrou.

If the Jazz were to buy a late 2nd for this guy, id actually be pretty excited. He could suprise to the upside, he can really shoot it from 3, sort of in the mold of an Omri Casspi, hes added more muscle since his season at Texas too. The Jazz could use a player like this IMO, a 20 y/o, 6'8", Floor Spacing SF.

"He's very talented. He wasn't ready, but we would've seriously considered drafting him anyway," one NBA general manager told ESPN. "If he continues to develop his game, get more minutes and his body develops, I think he could be a top-five pick in 2015. He has that kind of talent."

- on Porzingis

Not that anybody cares, but here are my top 10 for the draft. This is based solely on game tape as I haven't had time to keep up with combine measurements or workout info:

1.Joel Embiid – Best chance of being a player you can run your offense and defense through.
2.Jabari Parker - Has a chance to become a 30ppg scorer in the NBA.
3.Marcus Smart – Besides parker, has the highest floor. All Defensive player of the year candidate.
4.Andrew Wiggins – Highest ceiling or would be rated lower. Just haven’t seen enough positive out of him to understand the hype.
5.Julius Randle – How many freshmen put up the numbers he did? I personally think it can translate to the NBA.
6.Noah Vonleh – All the tools to become a great all-around player, but haven’t seen anything to say that he will. I think he could be a Marvin Williams type talent.
7.Aaron Gordon - “If” he could shoot, but he can’t. Will still add a lot of value to the team he goes to.
8.Dante Exum – Very unimpressive in everything I’ve seen. Could see him leading the league in BA.
9.Dario Saric – Wanted to put him higher, but I don’t think he has as high of a ceiling as some of the others.
10.Doug McDermott – The fact that he is rated top 10 in this draft is impressive.
