Following potential 2017 draftees...

Antonio Blakeney is declaring. He is an interesting pure 2-guard prospect. According to DX he recorded a 45'' vertical two years ago at LSU's pro day. Can probably take that with a grain of salt, but the dude can get buckets.

Good move. Hired an agent? He could get drafted with one of the late picks. Definite pro somewhere, would be a heck of an UDFA signing, surely he's better than the SG's on the d-league affiliate. Born in October 1996 iirc.

Evans has little trouble getting into the lane off the dribble but has struggled to score once he gets there as his 45.3% 2-point field goal percentage ranked fourth worst among NCAA prospects in our top-100. He isn't afraid to attack the basket and challenge rim protectors, but hasn't found much success finishing from close range at the college level, as he converted just 47% of his half-court attempts inside the paint last season according to Synergy Sports Technology. His lack of size and just decent explosiveness are major issues here, and is something he'll have to work to overcome in the NBA. - Source: https://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jawun-Evans-76420/ ©DraftExpress

Yup. Dont sign me up for that.

No, but I bet he stays in the draft.

6'8" lefty Canadian wing worth keeping tabs on. He'll just be graduating HS next year but would be draft eligible as an international player.

Ok I gotta ask....Pgab why do you insist on post **** that has no relevance to this current draft? I like ya man but all this other crap us really just getting old.

Let me put this in little words we are talking about players that can be draft in 2017. Is that concept hard to understand?

We have other threads for other years to our can post in if your ego needs to be caressed.

Please keep that out of here.

Asinine news if Bridges is truly returning. Not gonna hurt his stock in the long run (barring injury) hurts his earning power for sure.

The 2018 draft just continues to get stronger and stronger upfront.

Dillon Brooks and Rawle Alkins are both in the draft. No Agent for Rawle but he sounds like he's moved on.

The Jazz could really use a quick-release, catch-and-shoot shooter like this, let alone at the 4. Our guys -- Joe, Joe and Hood -- sometimes take a while to catch, set and think about shooting before they release, and it gives defenses time to hedge and recover rather than maximizing space. A guy like Klay Thompson, whose release is instant, keeps his man's eyes and feet glued to him at all times. Plus, it looks like this guy will be able to survive on defense and on the boards.

IDK, his weaknesses are really similar to Lyles but he is smaller/weaker. The question is if he works harder than Lyles. He seems to be a little lighter on his feet and obviously is a more pure shooter. Other than that Lyles seems to have him beat on most things. I just think he might be able to fit into a role better than Lyles has currently shown.

If we pick Lydon, it's primarily for his shooting and floor spacing. They probably wouldn't ask him to initiate much or bang inside. He's lighter than Lyles, but if anything that makes him quicker and bouncier. He's physically very similar to TJ Leaf, which is why it would be great to see those two work out. I wonder what Leaf would be like if UCLA played at the same pace as Syracuse. Syracuse really pushes the ball and UCLA typically plays a bit slow.
