Yeah... I try to keep close tabs on the 'giants' (7'2+) and I can't say he looks all that promising (the Vanover Bro's look more servicable at this point and like legit 4-star quality). Van Komen might be more like 3-star...

I can throw together a pretty good sized list of Amateur giants on the radar and he'd certainly be near the bottom... Incremental improvements can mean big strides for players that size and he's certainly got plenty of time to improve... He might still be growing too, which may help or hurt his chances..... they had him at 7'3" like last year IIRC..
He's a 7'5" local kid to most on this forum and Shawn Bradley comparisons have been following hm for over a year already.. He reminds me a bit of the 7'5" dude I used to play pick up games against (who started playing ball in his later teenage years).
FWIW - Felipe Dos Anjos who'd be auto eligible for the draft in 2020 and 7'3" Jonathan Jeanne are at the top of my Giant list right now.. With Tacko Fall just a smidgen behind.
Good work man as always. But will those knees serve long enough in the NBA? Body language goes really down after a certain height threshold. So it kinda depends on the knee problems history genetically and the ceiling for the young guy's lower body to get stronger. Any other scenario makes guys like him China passenger in today's book of NBA pace.
