Following Potential 2025 Draftees

imo, if his potential is going to be maximized you want him to be the primary creator. at every level, he's always been a lead guard. why? he will nearly always be the best passer/playmaker on the floor - as such you want the ball in his hands as often as possible. everybody on the floor will be better if Demin is initiating.
100%

Yeah but if you want your team to be good he isn't a primary creator

Yeah, the 76ers and Hornets are definitely passing on this guy and we're staring down a Kon vs. Ace debate that is going to cause a lot of pain in the fanbase.
Nah, I bet if you made a poll of who we would take at 5 out of kon and ace then it would be pretty lopsided

Meh, if they wanted Ace, they certainly wouldn't say so because there is a very large lane to jump up to 3 and get him. You can't believe rumors about what teams are thinking because they are almost assuredly lying to you.

No, I'm saying the 76ers won't take a massive ego guy as whoever they pick is less important to the franchise than Maxey and McCain and probably Embiid and maybe PG13.

And the Hornets have been burned over and over and over and over and over and over again by massive ego guys.

i think you missed the point - in order for your team to be at it's best, you want to maximize all the talent you have - and if he's on your team you want him to be the primary creator as he will make everybody else on the court better.
You can't maximize everyone individually and your team at the same time unless you have perfect roster construction. I'd don't miss the point. The point is Demon, at this time, is not talented enough as a scorer or shooter to be given primary creator role. He would not make players better if he can't himself command respect from a defense.

In language you can understand what you said was "retarded".

Random observation:

I'm looking through past draft results and there is surprisingly few successful NBA players over the last 5 years with max verts over 40".

I did find this gem:
- Udoka Azubuike - Standing Vert - 37" , Max Vert 41" , Wingspan - 7'7.25"
Yeah, the vertical test isn't good. The maximum height isn't nearly as important as speed off the floor. It's like comparing VJ vs Tre. Tre only jumps an inch shorter, it watching them both it's not a question who is more athletic vertically.

It's also a test that can be gamed as you can run a peaking phase for your vertical and boost it to something that isn't game accurate

Not sure if this video has been posted but it's pretty impressive. 16 made 3's in a row in 35 seconds by Demin. Shots looks fantastic in the video

I still like Demin and believe his 3-point shooting will turn around. The dude has a great basketball body, and his playmaking chops are already elite. Idk, some team may bet on this guy and win the bet down the road.
