Don't they know the history of the term Governor? Also, most of the English speaking world use Governor to be a person (generally woman) who babysits children. I have a few friends that would really benefit from having their student debt canceled to help them and their families but also like you said I have a couple of other buddies that will just blow that money and don't deserve it. I purposely didn't go to college because I didn't want the debt. But as long as it doesn't come out of my pocket then I guess I don't care either way.

College should be more affordable. Canceling loans isn’t the answer as someone has to pay for it meaning all taxpayers.

We can cut the cost of college by 50% - just get rid of the first two years of gen ed classes that you don’t care about and go straight into your major out of high school and out in two years. You don’t need to take Geology if you want to be a public relations specialist.
