What's new

Gobert...

The elephant has been in the room since last summer imo

Perhaps. But a few international games doesn't mean you can do it every night against NBA-quality players. He certainly raised eyebrows during the summer; enough to think he'd be a quality rotation, maybe defensive specialist player. Now we're seeing a guy pushing for a starting role.

It wasn't just international games. It was the world championship. Every team had legit NBA talent.

He was very impressive in International games, summer league, and two scrimmages.

Like you said, it's not the same as nba games but I had seen enough after seeing him live at two scrimmages. He was the best player there and just had that fire and spark about him.
I wish I could find and bump that thread about the scrimmage. I was absolutely raving about rudy

I have liked him a lot from the beginning too. Should have gotten more PT last year. One absolutely great thing about him is his motor, the guy moves around like he means it. Watch him go to set a pick: he does not move to the spot, he hustles to the spot. Wonder if he can ever develop one or two good moves on offense.

How many titles mark eaton won with leading assists man and leading score man all time?

Yes, and they had a GREAT supporting cast during those years (sarcasm).....

Yep
He plays really hard

Did you notice who was No. 13 on the list, our own Boom Bitches.

Since this post, Mr. Koufos has jumped to #6 on that list. I have to admit, I was completely wrong about him as a serviceable player. I remember having arguments with GVC over Koufos' future NBA career. I thought he was complete garbage would be out of the league soon enough. Kid can play.
