That game against Minnesota is going to be an epic Tank Bowl.

Minnesota has Lost 11 in a row. That could be some hope for us.

Yeah, we're not getting that pick. They're getting annihilated, humiliated, destroyed, and above all else they don't have any people on the court.
 
i still think the warriors have to win another game at some point. probably @min or at home vs. noh. of course, the nets and raps have each won a game i didn't see them winning, but we'll see what happens. i still think it's close to 50/50.

With Lee out and Gordon back, I'm not sure they can even beat the Hornets.
 
it's a home game though, and GSW has a pretty decent home court advantage, even in the depths of suckitude. you're right, there's no guarantee they'll win another game... but i think they will.
 
So what if they win ANother game? Half of the hot trash that WAS sitting under them curiously came on strong and the Warriors have been purposefully awful. Suddenly, the Warriors are in A FOUR WAY TIE in the wins column with teams that are winning more lately. A win means ****. A win means the same thing for us. That awful Jazz win at home could well end up haunting this franchise for a very long time.

Does anyone even care anymore. There still is hope.
 
The hope is sitting on the edge of a razor. The most feasible scenario where the Jazz keep the pick is a tied record scenario where the Warriors lose the coin toss and/or a team jumps them.

This swings the return value of the Deron Williams trade pretty dramatically.

Does it? Favors, Kanter and Harris are already a done deal. The only potential difference now is most likely #8-#9 this year vs. maybe #10-#14 next year. Lower pick hurts the value, potentially weaker draft hurts the value, but I don't know if it's enough to materially alter the value of the deal.

I agree with you on the win last night. We need a lottery pick in this draft and preferably two. Losing both will be a huge set back.
