GSW Draft Pick Watch

if lets say we get gsw pick, then we will have something like back to back with detroit pick, so cant we trade harris for bknight and some junks they wanna dispose, and exchnge our picks if we are 1-2 above

David lee will miss Saturday's game and most likely the rest of the season. Team doctors are telling him not to play until fully healed. I hope the warriors get taken lightly to make this tank job back fire on lacob. Love to see them pull of three or four wins on unsuspecting teams. I really can't recall a deliberatebtank job such as the one they are trying to pull off. Curry was due back already and not a peep has been mentioned becuase they are not even going to evaluate him.

Not a good day today but still in the hunt.

I've sort of given up on the idea of us getting the GSW pick.

I'm only hoping for karma to catch up with them next year and land us an improved Quincy Miller at around the #6 spot.

To be honest I'd almost prefer that to whoever we're getting this year at the #9 spot.

Not really sure how much missing Lee hurts them. He was putting up good stats, but his defense is probably the worst on the team. Plus, with him out, means the Warriors will chuck more 3's, which is frankly the only way they have a chance to win.

Would suck though if the NCAA/NBA collectively passed a rule raising the age limit.

Wouldn't change things that much. Only about 3 or 4 HS'ers are expected to declare next year. It's just weak all the way around.

Well if two of those are Shabazz and Noel, that would move two more players up that we wouldn't be able to draft. I'm sure UK will have at least 1 and done also.

No one knows how it will all play out and which draft class will be better. We might look back and see that last years draft was better than this years.

Rough night. Toronto decides to take a night off tanking and NJ picks up a win that wasn't counted on. The Hornets also look like a team that can play and I can see them easily beating the Warriors in what once was thought of as a very winnable game. Not good at all. At least the Kings did indeed lose to the Thunder.

I'd bet everything I have that 2012 is remembered as the better draft class.

I posted this in another thread

Totally agree. And much stronger than last years draft. Players like P Jones, Barnes, and Sullinger would all have been picked 3-5 picks earlier last year and possibly T Jones as well. Guys that are staying this year will probably jump 5-7 spots in next years draft (Mcadoo, Zeller).

Where would DWill and Kanter go in this draft? Both probably after 5. Thompson and all the Euros probably would have all gone after 10.

You could probably add Q Miller to one of those that will jump 5-7 spots next year (possibly 10 -15). There are a few that jumped from last year to this year (marshall or Lillard) but that is because of position and the lack of PG's in this draft.

Cleveland might get a win today. GS probably doesnt stand a chance against la. I think David lee might be out too. Although that could have a positive effect.

GS is one game ahead of the Nets, and two games ahead of Toronto, right? Well, the only game I'd say either of those teams has a good chance of winning is against each other. So say both teams lose all of their remaining games, and so do the Warriors, then if NJ wins the game against Toronto, that means the pick would come down to a coin toss. But if Toronto wins, we would get the pick, right? Plus, GS plays NO at home, so if they win that game, and Toronto and NJ lose the rest of their games, we get the pick. Things don't seem quite as bad as people make them out to be.
