I wonder if they would fire Jackson for winning two games.
Complete opposite: He'll get a raise for losing
I wonder if they would fire Jackson for winning two games.
Or they are starting 3 rookies, 1 dleague player, and a scrub. Jeremy Tyler shot 7 FT's, he is a bad FT shooter. The Jazz have shot around 50% from the FT line when Favors has had high attempts and poor shooting.
Players aren't tanking, they just flat out suck.
So jacking threes with 18 seconds on the clock multiple times a game does not seem fishy? I mean The least Jackson could do is reign them in and make them play BASKETBALL! Im whining and I get that and you can point that out, really dont give a ****. Sitting Lee is insane; its a pure tank move. Nobody ever expected curry or bogut back so you try to throw that out there really does nothing to sway me from thinking that this is the biggest tank job in NBA history. Its not just fans on jazz boards stating this, media is on this as well. Oh not to mention the owner has stated as much. Yep Mr. lacob you sure "worked on getting your pick back".
I think people are just overreacting to a terrible team. They aren't tanking anymore than any other bad team is currently doing. They just have worse players.
They're holding out David Lee, Stephen Curry and even Nate Robinson in a concerted effort to lose as many games as possible. They're tanking to try to get a pick this year.
Also, rumor is that Curry could play, but he's being held out. Given his injury history and the fact that this season is lost, that's understandable.
I live in the Bay Area. They're tanking and everyone in the league knows it. Even casual fans are talking about it. It used to be that they would stop running plays and playing defense in the 4th quarter. After the unexpected blowout win agains Denver, they've been slacking in the 2nd quarter. It's been hidden behind their tough schedule the last few games, but watch what happens when they play the T'wolves who have lost 12 out of 13 without Kevin Love. That's the acid test.
