The real upside for me in giving up Sexton + THT straight up for Herro would be clearing up space at our guard rotation for Keyonte George, and that would still banking on Herro's development and a salary cap expending big so that we could get the value of that contract to go up so that it has value in future trade scenarios.Latest news is we are willing to trade players and a pick for Herro. That’s what we should be looking at. THT + KO + first would be perfect to me. Looking at our salary cap we have to include two of THT/KO/Sexton to make any deal work.
The notion of giving a first for a player that's nearly a JC copy with a better 3 point shot (which is the direction I see his actual upside, looking to form his game through shooting around the catch, on motion, coming off screens, as a Desmond Bane, Klay, Buddy Hield, Bogdanovic type sniper/scorer, not as an actual playmaker/ballhandler), but at a worse iso capacity, yet making 120/4 guaranteed is ludicrous (negative contract simply put), maddening sick to me.
