What's new

Mitchell is trying to be special again and is taking himself out of the offense. That's 2 missed layups.

His first 2 buckets were within the offense but when he got settled in and had the ball in his hands, he made poor decisions.

This is looking like an early season game for Mitchell. Dribbling the air out of the ball every possession and not making anything. His decision making process is so slow.

Huh? He has 4 assists this half. Sounds like his decision making is just fine

If the ball touches Mitchell's hands the possession is over. He takes 8+ seconds to do anything, and when he takes a shot he misses anyways.

Also, ****ing hilarious that Quin can't recognize how horrific of a matchup Royce guarding Murray is. Quin has the worst ability to adapt as a coach in the league.

Assists does not necessarily mean good decision. Mitchell is tanking the offensive every time he touches it by dribbling out the shot clock. There is no ball movement, just Mitchell dribbling until he shoots or makes a pass to shot.

This team is REALLY good if Mitchell doesn't tank the team down with his decisions. But tonight is one of those times where he's a massive anchor and can't get out of the way of others.

I have counted 6 ofensive possesions where we did absolutely nothing in 23,5 seconds and had to shot a horrible 3. Why? Just Why?

Mitchell's overall decision-making and 2 bonkers decisions back2back by Conley and we let them back in and gave them the lead.

One of these days, Mitchell will learn how to get out of his team's way and not drag the entire team down. These performances come way too often.

He doesn't have to play well every night. He has to not single handedly tank his team by dribbling the shot clock down every possession. If it's not your night, just stay out of the way and maybe play some defense instead. Mitchell's response to having off shooting nights is to dribble endlessly and cannibalize the offense.

Two things I would do--I would bring in a defensive specialist to guard Murray, and I would tell Mitchell to go downhill to the rim repeatedly until the Nuggets stop him from getting there. He's had three drives where he's had nearly a completely open lane, and he's only converted one of them.
