Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

The Jazz just need to take care of their business every night. Focus on one win at a time and the rest will sort itself out favorably. I have no doubt whatsoever that they get in if they have that mentality. Gobert is getting into a groove, Favors/Rubio/Jingles have all played well over the past 20 or so games, Donovan’s learning curve is astronomical and both Jae Crowder and Royce O’Neale are perfect bench guys for us. . . miss Thabo though. Hopefully Exum adds something when he gets back too. And the schedule looks to be easing up after a brutal December/January stretch (minus Gobert for a big chunck of that.)

Top tier. GS, Hou, Tor, Bos, Cle.
Teams currently in playoff spot+ LA C, JAZZ, and Set.

Tanks. Teams with no shot

Looked at every ones schedules and broke it in to those tiers

CURRENT STANDINGS ,AND GAMES LEFT

3. Por 36-26. 20 games left. 5 vs top, 10 vs playoff teams, and 5 tanks. Should be in.

4. SA. 36-26. 20 games left. 4 vs top, 11 vs po teams, and 5 tanks. Been slipping, depends on kawhi. Prob just hold on.

5. OKC. 37-27. 18 left. 5 vs top, 9 vs po, and 4 tanks. To much talent to not be in.

6 Minn. 38-28. 16 left. 3 vs top, 7 vs po, and 6 tanks. Fall out with no butler, and Teague is a b&^*h.

7. N.O. 35-26. 21 left. 5 top 10, 9 po, and 7 tank. Been on a win streak but almost all garbage teams. Have a really tough stretch coming. Think they may hold, but barely

8. DEN. 34-28. 20 left. 3 vs top, 11 vs po, and 6 tank. Think they hold

9 LA C. 33-28. 21 left. 3 vs top 13 vs po, and 5 tank. Think they join minny and ate out

10. JAZZ. 32-30. 3 VS top, 7 po, and 10 tanks. As long as they take care of tank teams and go 500 in rest should be in

Final standings I got
3. POR, 4 OKC, 5 DEN, 6 UTAH, 7 NO, 8 S.A.

TBH anyone not houston or GS. Give me NO, LA, Minny, Portland, denver, okc, or san antonio and i think we have a shot against any of them.

Normally I think it would be crazy to expect the tenth placed team in the conference (or really almost any team) to finish 16 and 4, but I think the Jazz could do just that, and if they do it's almost impossible to imagine a scenario where they would miss the playoffs.

That brutal December schedule plus the return of Gobert and the emergence of Donovan is making for a very exciting finish.
