No, ****, Sherlock. Read the thread.
You should post them anyway. The rest of us would like to see. The more we can get into the shared pool of knowledge, the more educated all of us are. Even if we have to strike something in the pool as false when it proves to be... or even strike something as speculative until it can be proven.
So, please. Share with us.

Yes, let me read more of your post where you say "Oh hey guys I heard he was left wing on twitter."
Why even state stuff like that when you know it's 100% false and made up?

1. This is a discussion forum
2. I don't know what's true and shared things I read online and clearly stated I didn't know if it was true or not.
3. The irony of your post.
I don't think you understand how discussion forums work. This is how false information gets passed. People post stuff that is obviously made up trolling and give it the time of day. Even if they might say it skeptically, someone else will see it and run with it, posting it on their facebook page and it grows.
What I posted was debunking the trash you spoke of.

Dude, he's a Shapiro fan. He's getting his sewage from Breitbart and Infowars guaranteed. That's why he isn't sharing-- he knows that everyone will blast him.
I'm sorry Arch. But the first rule of tragedies like these is holding judgements until all the details are evident and properly disseminated.
The division and attacking of other people feels like it's at an all time high. You're either a liberal commie/hippie/moron or a deplorable racist. There's no in-between.
I've read about his Facebook and its like, interests, affilations, and messages shared. However, it's been taken down. Like candrew said, him being 64 doesn't make it believable he was a member of the antifa, but people online are pretty convinced.
I would, but a lot is screenshots posted on twitter and facebook.
You have to take everything so far with the finest grain of salt. There are groups on the darkweb, 4chan etc., that single out and exploit these events to spread misinformation and entice people with lunatic conspiracies. Truth to the matter is that it's so fresh that the authorities and even the media have not had a chance to investigate his character. I imagine some things will come to light once they've finished with his home.
Kind of eerie considering he was from Mesquite, NV and lived in a retirement community. He once sued a casino so it's likely he was a regular to the ones down there. Weird to think I may have brushed shoulders with him at one point at the casino.

I don't know how to do this but I think one thing that would help is to somehow get people to not love guns so much..... to not treat them as prize possesions that they are so proud of. They should be looked at more like a tool that has a use. That's it. Imo anyway. I dislike the obsession many Americans have with their gun collections. The whole culture needs to change. Probably impossible though at this point.Thoughts from me:
I think regulation would have little impact. I mean, let's say these were automatic rifles like the news is saying...those are very heavily regulated. So is that a real solution? I don't know. We can try it though. I would like to see some kind of a waiver for hunting purposes. Fact is, the vast, vast majority of people that own guns don't do anything illegal with them.
People are going to want to take away guns. That's a mistake. It'll lead to a civil war. I'm serious, it will. I don't see how that's a better solution
I don't know what the answer is. I don't believe the problem is guns, but we're probably at the point where we have to make access more difficult. We need to figure out why they're doing this. We need to fix the division. I'm young, but I never remember people being like this. We can't discuss things without insults being thrown out. I think the internet/social media is a large part of the problem tbh. Nobody wants to restrict that though.
If restrictions come, if a complete gun ban comes, I won't like it, but I will comply. I'm a Christian, and I believe that we are told to obey our governmental leaders, so that is what I will do.
Those could be fun.

Unfortunately, I feel like doing anything about gun violence/our gun obsessed culture is hopeless.
Apparently this guy has no previous history with guns, or at least his brother said so.
It's a really weird situation.
Highly thought out, expensive equipment, yet no history indicating he was capable of it.
