Minnesota open to trading #2 pick

I just don't think this draft is all that great. Why go to great lengths, and drop assets, to trade into the 5-10 spot somewhere when that same group in next year's draft would be somewhere north of 15?

While this draft is devoid of any super-stars, I think it's an exceptioanlly deep draft for role players. Not just small role players, but big time role players.

The NBA is exceptionally deep with proven role players who may all be available for a draft pick and something else to plug holes we may have. If we are looking at moving assets, I would vote for doing it to trade for needs rather than for another pick in a mediocre draft HOPING to get a role player that fills the need.

Agree. And with the cap likely going lower, there might be some real bargains available for teams with room. With AK off the books and Memo's expiring available, Jazz might be able to make a sweet trade. Juts look at what Cleveland was able to pull off by taking Baron off the Clippers' hands.

If you wanna trade for picks do it for the 2012 draft. This one's not good enough.

yes, I'm still enamored of Biyombo but I don't know how to get him. Unless he does great in workout and then they can spend the 3rd pick on him, but I'm not confident in that at all right now.
