Does that make Boston a FA player?
They only have 64 million committed next season.
They could trade two picks for Conley or Paul and still sign a max.
Trade favors to Boston for #14 pick
Horford hasn't won a ring yet, mabey he wants to contribute to a team and get one. Some players value winning more than moneyHorford is a really good player, but whoever is giving him a 4 year big money deal is going to regret it.
The whole Horford thing scares me off of Conley even more. It is very, very possible we only have Conley one year. There are a number of teams with cap space next summer, and the free agent options next year are absolutely awful compared to this year. I think he will opt out so he can get his last big deal.
The Conley deal just got even riskier for me.
He also costs $17 million in a cap year where we need to improve and his fit and salary is abjectly in the way of that.No way Favors is much better than anything will get at 14.
After earning 133,000,000 I hope his family will be okay with his selfish aspirations.players value winning more than money

The Celtics really should throw a few first rounders at Memphis so they can get Conley
Would the Jazz and Horford have mutual interest in playing 14 minutes at the 5 and 14 at the 4 for us?
Is he purely a 5 now?
