Paul George makes me Sick

Yeah we blew that pick big time. But so did a few other teams picking top ten. Wish we had a GM with a decent draft track record. KOC drafting in the first round has been a nightmare.

Paul George over the last five: 29 min., 17.2 pts, 6.6 bds, 2.2 asts, 2 stls, 1 blk, .6 TO (56%, 54%, 93%) goes to the line 3 x/game.

Gordon Hayward over the last five: 32 min., 14.8 pts, 3.2 bds, 3.4 asts, 1.4 stls, .8 blk, 1 TO (44%, 36%, 84%) goes to the line 5x/game.

Hayward's been playing very well lately, but George has been lights out. He shoots a lot of threes--for good reason.

You're not the only one Paul George makes sick; I'll bet that includes a good number of Pacers fans tonight too. Man, he really sucks.

Once Hayward regains his 3pt shot he will be just as good as George. I'm hoping that happens, because I'm having a hard time believing how bad he is shooting it this year. Some of his misses aren't even close.

I am also having a hard time believing how badly Hayward is shooting this year. The only reason I can think of is this condensed schedule taking the lift out of his jump shot. Only thing is, it seems like he gets up pretty well on his dunks. lol maybe Hayward should just stick to dancing.

I'm a lot more worried about Hayward's ability to finish drives myself, but I've seen positive things in the last few games. As for his 3pt shooting, he's not a 47% shooter any more than he's a 25% shooter. The question is what is he? I could happily live with 35 if he can make plays at the rim.

Once he starts hitting outside shots more consistently I believe all other aspects of his game will open even more. Lanes will get bigger for passing and driving.

____________'s game would be so much better if he could hit threes more regularly.

George comes from my school, i didnt really watch him though, but he doesnt have as much potential as Hayward. He has very good defense and it seems he improved his offensive skills this year too, but Hayward has better iq, he is a very good team player, only thing he needs is some confidence so he can make some 3s and play at 2, at 3 he is overwhelmed by strong opponents. I dont expect Hayward to be a franchise player, but i expect him to be a great leader player who plays for the team and helps the team win instead of making great stats.

I love this stat line

Min FG 3pt FT OReb DReb Reb Ast Stl Blk TO PF Pts
29 1-8 0-3 3-5 1 2 3 1 2 0 3 4 5

That was George's stat line last night.

Tonight I was incredibly happy with Hayward. George has been in a slump lately. I know, he is on my fantasy team.

This sort of reminds me of the Deron Williams taken 3 and Chris Paul at 4 thing.

As a Jazz fan base we have to have something like this. We need to get more aggressive with this and turn to the pacers forum and let them know that Hayward is elite and George is always going to be secondary.

God and George would make for a great back-court. 6'9 and 6'10 player who can both play SG or SF.
