or ball-handling.

Not that McDaniels is really great at those things, but he does have upside for growth.

I think the upside for growth in Okoro's game is pretty limited.

And honestly, i'd expect the Wolves to match a McDaniels max offer, and had they traded KAT, something they'll problably do in the future, focus more on developing his offense would be a thing, which is another reason they problably should already gone that route

Nor shooting, but i limited to talk over defensive strenghts, because there started a conversation between them especific for that side of the court

Tho i even do believe that Okoro limitations on offense can reach the point of costing your offense in a way that hurts your defense through worse fg% and more turnovers leading towards more transition for the other team.

Tho we do have a lot of guards, i'd like Quickley, but i agree with the notion that it would take a substantial offer to pry him away from the Knicks.

Honestly, i thinks that even If maybe attainable cheaper, i don't know If i'd like the risk-reward at Pat Willians. Don't really fancy Okoro above BAE money (and at that the Cavs should problably match). Low-key intrigued bout Josh Green, maybe the best bet among the bunch.

Saddiq Bey is an interesting one, maybe(?). Hawks surely should wanna pay him, but they also have Young, Murray, Huerter, Bogdanovic, Capela (this one they might ship to keep Okongwu) and will need to pay Okongwu.

Poku could be another one, as OKC may have enough talent and picks to feel like "nah, don't need the risk If the contract ain't really good"

They already have 3 supermax players. They have to trade KAT for expirings now to afford a max McDaniels

They also have Mike and Kyle Anderson contracts running down, and got to keep Naz Reid at a very reasonable deal. If they get back decent rotational pieces and decrease salary a bit in a KAT trade, it's about paying taxes around Gobert, waiting for him to come off the books (or trade him too if they're lucky, which maybe they can do If they get any draft capital back from KAT, that might be the reason to keep him, or look for a buyout in his last year).

Getting McDaniels would be predicated on the Wolves being the clusterf*ck franchise that they're known to be (which is kinda fair point for their history), but their direction going forward should be growing their team around Ant, Jaden and Reid, that is the athletic young core they have at the same group age (that ain't an ultra overpriced non-winning player like KAT)

They go all in this year. IF KAT play well and remain healthy, they will keep him this season. If it turn bad, i won't be surprised he got traded at the deadline.

Zeke Nnaji got 4/32… which seemed aggressive but maybe his value gets a bump if he’s a full rotation player…

McDaniels and IQ going down to the deadline… interesting.

Right now it seems like all the questionable players are extending at prices that are more than they are worth, but is a solid value bet for their franchises. So both sides are happy.

Seems like Okoro would be in that group who should probably take what he can get in an extension, but does Cleveland want to commit money?
