I like Royce's game a lot. He is long and fluid and has a nice shot and good instincts on D. He actually reminds me a little bit of a Scottie Pippen type player. I don't think he will ever sniff that level of play, but I think he could end up being a poor man's Pippen if he keeps developing. He is a great side-kick to Donovan, and I think he will be a worthy heir to the Jingledom when Joe retires.

Royce is nice, but minutes are going to be hard to come by for him to really make any kind of huge jump. I think Burks is going to be better this year (than he was last year) and Exum will hopefully be healthy, so it's probably going to be another 15-18 mpg season for Royce.

Ok, bud. Literally 100% of my conversations about Royce have been of the “holy cow where did this guy come from... crazy value” type. So forgive me for inquiring about what you were saying.

Sounds like the jazz have set themselves up quite well. Flexibility, options, and good contracts everywhere on the roster.
DL has done a very good job assembling the players on this team and the contracts. Future is very bright.

Of course it helps when your star is on a rookie deal and things will definitely get tougher when that contract becomes a max in a few years but as of right now the jazz are sitting pretty

Big time... they do have a window to pull the trigger on a significant win now addition... will they do it?

Imo they will need to sacrifice good for great at some point... the position we always eye is PF but it could be PG or wing (if we moved DM to PG). If Ricky’s shooting is a fluke and Dante looks more like bench material that might be the position we upgrade. If the Favs Ricky Rudy grouping struggles might have to move to full on stretch four mode. Sacrificing those guys is risky because there is a significant chance we get worse.

Next 24 months will be entertaining and really interesting.

Thing is I have full faith in DL managing things going forward, it not even a concern for me its more just speculating on what its gonna look like.

My initial reaction is that you’re being disengenous with your comment you limited to just mods about needing specifics. But it’s entirely possible that I’m reading that wrong. So I’ll go ahead and give you a specific instance.

Post #8 in the Offial preseason game thread. It was made by you and you call someone a “bitch”. That post was reported. Now I think you were just messing around and so voted ignore. But we see that over and over and over. And you have had week long fueds (not sure what else to call it) with several posters. Is it any wonder that eventually you get warned and asked/told to reign it in a little? Something you ignore of course and get warned again and again. Until a ban happens. Rinse and repeat. And here we are.

You now the rules, such as insulting other members (another specific).

Now you can fully think some of the rules are dumb. I do. Ive explained how you can lobby to have them changed.

Hopefully this provides some insight.

NAOS, you’re a poster with unique views and posting style. Something I think Jazzfanz is lessor for when you’re banned. You’re intelligent and quite funny (to me at least). Based on my high opinion of your intelligence o find it hard to believe you don’t understand the “why” behind your bans.
