The reason Obama's citizenship is questioned

That's very kind of you. I think if we had a quiet discussion on racism with an agreement to not allow our respective feathers to get ruffled, you might agree with me more than you realize.

Oh, I am very aware that racism is alive and well. I experienced hatred and violence just because I am different as well. I have a first hand knowledge (assulated, shot at, spit on, denied service...) of hatred on that level. I just see (again from my experiences) that racism is used as an excuse for everything. If you do not get your way it is because of some form of bigorty wether it is race, sex, religion, political affiliation... It can't simply be becasue you did not deserve or earn what you wanted. The victims of racism are their own worst enemy by crying that everything is racism. (generally speaking)

If you wish to continue that topic I suggest PM so that we can continue to watch Thriller either A) not understand anything he reads or B)Troll in a horribly failing way.

True but a picture or even several of them are not what I would use to prove I lived somewhere. You should strengthen your arguement. The bolded part is what you should use as it proves that he did and is stronger than a picture.
Yeah, I get that. And all of that stuff is out there for anyone interested. But there is no point in even going there if he accepts the pictures as real. That's why I asked. Maybe Babe hasn't seen the pictures? I mean, I was totally baffled as to what he meant in that post. If he had seen the birth certificate and the pictures, then his post really made no sense. Unless he thinks they're fakes.

And honestly, if you think that birth certificate is a fake, then you probably won't be swayed by anything else. (not you specifically, but anyone)

More than likely.

I'm fairly certain had Obama not spent half his childhood in a foreign nation, this would have never been questioned.

McCain's citizenship was questioned during the last election cycle as well, last time I checked McCain isn't black.

First off, let's get right out of the way how stupid the rule is, and that people calling a person into question because of it is the recourse of a through-and-through loser. But following up on that, there has never been a movement based on this, and if McCain hadn't ****ed himself by selecting Palin and magically pulled it off, there wouldn't have been one either.

There are two possible reasons the movement happened, and one or both are true:
-There's something wrong with conservative America. Like truly, clinically wrong.
-Racism. What a coincidence that the first black president has to face such an absurd controversy. It must also be a coincidence that the heartland of this and the tea-party movement are in the former confederacy and midwest (the south-lite).

Unrelated, but great sig.

The idea that Obama was foreign born originated from himself during his college days.
Birthers originated from the Hillary Clinton Campaign.
She also found out that Obama's ancestors were slave owners.

And the nutjobs still pushing this nonsense after Obama released his birth certificate are either bat**** crazy or motivated by something other than the facts.

Only half the Mid-West (Ohio, Indiana, Iowa) is South-lite. Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconson are not. Michigan seems to be split 50-50.

The Tea Party is also strong in the Mountain West. The Moutnain West (Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona) for the most part has always had a rather large independent streak though.

Excpetions seem to be parts of Colorado, New Mexico and Las Vegas.

I do find it interesting that The Thriller came on here and when he failed misreably to truly get what was going on that PearlWatson suddenly started posting.

Have you even googled this?

If you did you would quickly find a lot of answers to most (if not all) the questions you're asking.

On one hand you say that you aren't a birther yet on the other hand you bring up questions. Then, to make matters worse, you do no research of your own to answer your questions.

So stop acting like you're completely neutral on this. Admit what you are. You're a birther but too ashamed to admit it. So you bring up questions (which could be easily answered with a google search) hoping that no one actually takes the 30 seconds to look them up in hopes that some doubt might be inserted into the argument.

Birthers are nutcakes. Their motive is primarily about racism. No ifs ands or buts.

So in order not to be a birther I must ask no questions? Got it. The questions that have been raised are fake and just cover for racism. There can be no other reason a person would question citizenship. None.

Finally! You're catching on.

So the Murphy bros are Africans militant communist terrorists who have somehow infiltrated the white house and are just waiting for the right time to take down the USA ?

You left out socialists but overall you pretty much have it.

The questions have been answered to the degree that to withhold consent is perverse.

True but certain posters are clearly converting anything even remotely contrsued as negative towards Obama into equating the birther movement.

It is a shinning example of the current state of US politics. We should all be so proud!

If racism were primarily about hatred and violence, I would agree with you.

Those are by products of racism but it does not mean they do not accompany it. They are amoung the most aggressive expresions of racism.

I am interested as to what you consider racism to primarily be about.
