Trade idea for Horford

The concern is he is duplicitous but not as good as other options, and that he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Also that he there are legitimate defensive issues, especially when he's duplicitous.

That's not even entertaining the notion that he might not actually be that good.
I don’t think people understand.

Mike is better than Royce, but what Mike does will take the ball out of DM and Ingles and Bojans hands... those guys have been better than Mike... what Royce does for the starting unit really helps and is not something Mike does.

Mike still has a lot of value but our starting lineup has a net rating that is similar to the warriors starters last year... it’s the best in the league that has played over 200 minutes. Sub mike in for Joe and it’s still really good... take Royce out and sub Mike in and it hasn’t been good at all this far.

I think starting with a bench role and dipping our toes in the water is the best option... I just don’t want to lose the rythymn are starting 5 has... low level competition... I get it, but they are smashing people... that group ain’t the issue.

Ricky Rubio looked like crap the first half of last season. It wasn't until January that he played well enough.

Conley looked dazed and confused but think about switching companies and expecting to perform at peak level when you are still learning new operating systems. It's not just like it happens over night. The injury to me is the biggest concern because it will delay the learning curve methinks.

I do think that there are legitimate concerns about taking the ball out of Donovan's hands and putting it in Conley's hands to initiate the offense. Donovan has been playing lights out.

Conley is far from a bust my friends.

PS. Aron Baynes at $5 million for 1 year is a slam dunk.

Al Horford's contract is $109 million spread over 4 years. He is already 33 and a half years old. He will be 38 when his contract expires and making $28 million a year!!! NO WAY IN ZEUS' TIGHTIEWHITIES DO WE WANT THAT CONTRACT!

Conley is going to make a lot of people look real dumb by the end of the year.
Man I hope so, because after 5 or 6 games people were saying that after 15 games, then wait until after December, now by end of the season. I hope he makes a lot of us look stupid the very day he comes back.

This team looks kinda like **** when it has another high-level scoring ball-handler so I’m going to strongly disagree and add that there are other more pressing issues.
Bogdan w/o Conley on court:
eFG% = 50.5
TS% = 57.9

w/ Conley on court:
eFG%: = 57.4
TS% = 61.6

Bojan's numbers go up when he's paired with people make it so he doesnt have to dribble as much. His numbers go up even higher with Mitchell and Conley on the court. It's a huge need. Why do you think the Clarkson addition has made such an impact?

Simple:
-Because our bench was garbage, not our main lineup(s).
-There are other players besides Bojan.

His salary is descending. When his contract expires, that amount will represent less than 20% of the cap. Some players are very good for a very long time and I think Horford is a legit rotation player until the end.

Our roster is really unbalanced and trading Mike for a big balances it. I think our odds are much greater in the next two years than after 2021 so in my mind you go hard for it now.

I’m not actually advocating that the move be made for a number of reasons. But there is logic there. I would prefer getting Baynes and putting a lot of effort into staggering Conley and Mitchell and reducing Conley’s minutes.
