Walker Kessler Bench Appreciation Thread

Why isn't he an example though?

I get that anyone who thinks differently than you is an idiot but I just don't know why.

Like I said, already had this conversation with you. Don’t care to repeat myself on something so simple and blatantly obvious.

If you can’t figure it out, it is not worth it to talk to you about it.

That works for me. Does seem like something so obvious would be easy to reiterate but oh wells.

That is the reoccurring argument that is completely stupid. If you think Lopez is an example is to why Kessler can become a decent 3 point shooter you are a complete idiot.
He never shot threes through college or the first 6 years of his career. Then he shot them once in a blue moon and was bad at it but he kept shooting and got better so tell me why that’s a bad EXAMPLE!!! As you can see it wasn’t a comparison.

You are literally comparing the two, but I don't care about semantics. If Brook is an example and not a comparison, it's a terrible example. If you really think Brook and Walker showed the same ability to shoot the ball and eventually make 3 pointers, I've got nothing for you. Figure that out on your own, it's not difficult. You are either arguing in bad faith or being so dumb it's not even worth discussing.

Well Walker has shown more ability to shoot 3's than Brook to this point in their careers.

Quite literally Fish and Thee when it comes to Walker shooting 3s
Exactly. Now you are getting it.

I literally said that I think kessler has a very low chance to ever be a good 3 point shooter. We both think this.

Just like you and I both would have said that Lopez has a very low chance to ever be a good 3 point shooter if we had this discussion about him in 2010.

Kessler being a good 3 point shooter is very unlikely.
But the fact that there are examples, Lopez being one, of guys not being good 3 point shooters later becoming good 3 point shooters gives a sliver of a chance.
If no one had ever done it before then it would still be possible (first time for everything and all) but even less likely in my mind.

It's like if I fish a certain river year after year and I really want to catch a fish over 20 inches. If I see a couple of people catch a fish over 20 inches then it makes it more likely that maybe I will someday as well even if 95% of the time I don't see anyone catch one over 20 inches. If I never ever saw anyone catch a 20 incher then my chances would be even lower. The fact that I saw it happen a few times makes it more possible that it can happen again. Even it's still very unlikely.
