What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

The China Syndrome 1979. Jane Fonda, Jack Lemmon, and Michael Douglas. Not bad.

Also caught the original Flight of the Phoenix with Jimmy Stewart, that was good.
I still think the worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life was Miss Peregrine's. Holy crap. If you like watching terrible movies, this one is for you. It is just so bad

If anyone likes watching terrible movies I have the masterclass list for ya.

Start with;

The Room (2003)

and

Birdemic; Shock and Terror (2010)

These will set the bar extremely low...

Thor ragnorok was quite good. Really funny.

Watching Only The Brave now.

Anyone see The Post, The Shape of Water, or Hostiles?

I think I’m gonna check one out tomorrow.

Watched all 3 Back to the Futures with my gf cause she's never seen them and it's been 20+ years since I've watched them start til finish. Doc nailed his role.

I see Fish is about that torrent life.

Nah. Stream from showbox.
Only the brave was pretty good. Really sad. There was a scene that was about as terrifying as I have seen since the bear scene in the revenant.

Watching suburbicon now. Really liking it so far.

Last movie I saw in theater was Jumanji. It looked terrible, but everyone I know seemed to like it. My assessment - mediocre.

Three Billboard Outside of Ebbing, Missouri was great. Definitely the best movie I watched this year. Love the director.

Also watched Thor: Ragnarok. It's Taika Waititi alright. It's nice to see the marvel movies from a different perspective but it's still the same formula and kinda boring when it gets hero vs villain. Cate Blanchett looked cool, though.

I saw "The Post" last week, instead of watching the State of the Union. I enjoyed the movie and Tom and Meryl, and I learned a lot more about that period of time than I previously knew. But I wonder why Spielberg didn't tell the story of the New York Times instead, or even the guy who leaked the Pentagon Papers. Both of those stories seemed more important than what the Washington Post did. Still, it was well worth seeing, and it reminded me that this country has survived bad situations before and will likely continue to survive.

I have watched some real stinkers lately.

Watched about half of the last jedi. Couldn't finish it. Hated it. (Never been a big star wars fan though)

Watched the Cloverfield paradox. It was pretty good for a bit then got really crappy and mostly sucked overall.

Then I watched the snowman. One of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Yeah I almost hated the first half of Last Jedi as well, especially that bit where Finn and that girl went to the Casino trying to find the code breaker (?). I nearly fell asleep and thought to myself 'this is pointless'.

But it did get better. MUCH better.

I watched 7 X-Men movies last week. I haven't seen the last two (three if you count Deadpool) and I felt the need to see the previous 7 again before watching them. I debated watching them in chronological order, but that seemed complicated due to the different timelines, so I watched them in release order. Now I'm ready for the rest.

I'm not a binge-watcher, but it was kind of fun.

Watched Groundhog Day with my gf. Classic. Now she sends me pics of her groundhog impressions.

OH ok, you never mentioned her.. haha.. are u still working at the bookshop?
Nah, quit like 3 months ago. Now I am translating some stuff, mostly books and playing video games, watching movies and travelling.
