What model based on reality informs your opinion?
The NFL has a hard cap. The NFL makes tons more money than the NBA. Don't get me wrong, there is no way in hell that the players will ever agree to a hard cap. But if the goal is to make it fair to all teams, and make the most money that is the best model.

I'm actually quite content. This season has been a grueling one as far as emotions go,
and sometimes it's a fresh of breathe air when it's over.

It's been a fantastic season where we exceeded my expectations, but this team still needs work if they plan on contending.

Give us a consistent third and fourth scoring option and I think we give GS a fight.

If the Warriors sweep the WC and beat the Cavs 4-0 or 3-1 will that lessen the negative impact of this series for anyone?

Yes, and no.

You should never be happy about a sweep.

There were some nice strides made this season, and some things we should be happy about. The wins, GH All Star, Gobert, winning 1st round.

At the same time our glaring weaknesses came out for all to see. Injury prone, Exum + Lyles with basically no rolls on playoff team, soft as cotton, not good enough at home.

We are 1-3 at home in the playoffs. That is not ok. We had some real stinkers at home this year. Our fans brought it a lot and the team didn't always deliver.

Never been ok with getting swept out of the playoffs. That is the mentality of a loser. Yes, there are some great things to be happy about but to ignore the end result you are ignoring
the most important aspect of the game and why we play.

Nah, Cleveland might have Lebron but they are no GS. They are much more beatable.

Also, Jazz are down 3-0 and I'm still thrilled with this season.

DL better have a giant *** binder for each game this series. Stats, plays, player bios, coach critiques, areas for Jazz player improvement...
Ya I would MUCH rather face the Cavs in the playoffs than this warriors team.

The NFL also has non-guaranteed contracts. The NFL also has similar parity issues as well. The NBA has 7 different champions in the past 10 years. The NFL has 8 different champions in the past 10 years.

I also dont get how a hardcap makes mores money. If a NBA team is willing to give the NBA an insane amount of money in LT as well as generate a ton of outside media interest, then why would they want to get rid of that?

You have to understand the lack of parity only really makes the hardcore fans salty. Casual NBA watchers dont care and that is the majority of any sport, casual audiences. And hardcore fans are going to tune in no matter what. We are all still Jazz fans after all these years of watching the Jazz get their asses kicked year after year since the 80's. A hard-cap probably won't change that. It just makes it harder to build a consistent team and would make whoever has Lebron James win it every year

Still satisfied and happy. Jazz learned some big lessons and saw big growth. Winning a game on the road versus a great team type lessons. Fantastic season!

Now, the Jazz FO and coaches have work to do. The lessons learned from the Jazz's success and failures need to be put into action.

Sign Hayward! Sign Ingles. Take a long hard look at Lyles, Diaw, Favors, Withey, Neto, Mack, Burks and Hill.

Do the Jazz re-sign Hill and try to trade Burks and Favors and bring in a stretch 4? Do we sacrifice that keep Favors and go after CP3? Or do the Jazz look at upgrading the 4 and do a trade for someone like Love?

Coaches need to push the players hard. Especially Hood, Exum and Lyles.

Lots of big decisions and player movement this off season. Hold on to your hats!
