LolHoof. Badass nickname.
Rudy has no legs at the moment. I hope he doesn't play in the Olympics and gets some decent rest and conditioning into his legs and trunk. He just isn't anywhere near as nimble and explosive vertically atm.
He is tired. It's crazy that he is pretty consistent still even though he is young and tired.
WTF I am tired of using he is "tired" excuses, he is 23-freaking-year-old and he is not the only guy who played summer ball. He just had a week off during all-star break and he came back "tired", serious?
The French team played together for a really long time in the offseason dips*** His knee won't be right until he gets a few months off
Oh sorry I didn't realize the above-normal level of playing Gobert did during offseason. I guess the prime Dirk, Manu, Pau or Yao Ming must have forgotten about needing to take "months" off to get legs right after playing for national teams for years.

I would trade him for the # 1 pick but that's not gonna happen by the way he is playing. He's been somewhat of a disappointment this season. It was supposed to be his break out season.
Do people not realize he's likely still on one leg? This has nothing to do with olympics or the summer. Hood played basketball all summer... Games 7 months ago really aren't affecting him. JEBUS PEOPLE!!!!!
Yep. I'd trade Gobert for Simmons and move Favors to the 5. But before I'd do that, I'd trade Hayward for a player who can stretch the floor. In the starting 5 (and even when Exum returns), Utah has only ONE player who is a 3PT shooter. Hayward is at 36% but doesn't shoot them that much - and that's not that great a percentage. Teams can simply pack the paint. Defensively, Gobert and Favors form a great tandem, but Rudy is worthless on offense. If Rudy and Favors are to remain on the court together, Utah needs 3 other 3PT shooters.Ben Simmon's ceiling is Kevin Durant, and the league going toward versatile big who can switch, pass and guard on the perimeter. One dimensional bigs like Gobert who has virtually NO offensive game has rapidly depreciating value in the changing league

I truly think we just need a real go to scorer. Our biggest problems to me are:
Offense-mediocre ball movement, lack of a killer instinct guy
Defense-Exum, a healthy Gobert

Those guys are hard to come by though.
Maybe hood can eventually be that guy?
