???? I struggle to see what it is that Oubre does that's better than Johnson.
He's longer and has better form on his shot. Smoother athlete.

. He still struggles with free throws for crying out loud.
Good criticism.About Burks, my biggest problem with him is breaking his habit of putting the ball on the floor the first thing when he gets it. He just needs to learn to shoot it off the catch when he's open at the 3p line. His catch and shoot 3s numbers last two years have been great(42% last year and 43% this year) and if he just starts shooting more of them instead of trying to go for contested drives in the crowded paint or taking 1 dribble pullup and going for a long 2, he'd be good.
ThisThose modes freaking blow. Someone is always pissed off about something.
Love it.The answer is getting rid of Burke and the position of traditional (backup) PG altogether and distribute the minutes/opportunities for better players/prospects. The Jazz are loaded with ballhandlers that are actually good, why make your life harder just to subscribe to conventional and flawed logic?
I don't know why people are worried about the logjam if the Jazz were some how able to get Mario? a rotation of Hayward, Burks, Hood, Mario would be awesome. Yea Mario might be antsy to be a starter but if he earns it then you can either trade one guy or have Burks come off the bench. I recall both Hood and Burks saying they just want to play. Why Kanter didn't work is because he had a poor attitude.
i dont' think the Jazz have any chance to get Mario so I would look at getting a guy who could be a solid backup, that is why I would look at moving back and getting two picks if no one at 12 lights your fire. This draft looks to be deep. I would love it if the Jazz got a solid guy like Justin Anderson from Virginia along with a backup big guy if Tomic isn't coming over.
Who do you guys like in the second round in our range?
I like Alpha Kaba, Timothe Luwawu, Richaun Holmes, George de Paula, JP Tokoto, and maybe Dakari Johnson as a backup 5 for the 42nd pick

Timothe Luwawu, 6'7" French SF moving up mocks, won't attend EuroCamp in Treviso. Supposedly wants 1st round guarantee.
Any one else amped for the Eurocamp? Luwawu wont attend because they have a playoff game tommorow, Ill post a link when it goes down.
Seems like Porz goes 5th btw, thats why he seems to be campaigning for the Knicks.
Oubre is legit, certainly a player that was over analyzed this year, If theres no Hezonja in this draft he goes higher, no chance he falls to 12.. Kelly can obviously play SG, that's not even debatable.. anyone who's got Devin Booker higher is really cutting Devin a ton of slack, and probably not much for Oubre.. I have Winslow slightly higher but its something i'm VERY hesitant about and will probably change before my final update. when they played together on Houston Hoops, Oubre stole the show... and took over as the swiss army knife, combo guard and did the heavy-lifting, while Winslow was rebounding and running the break and Justin Jackson was the floor spacer.
Oubre's spot up numbers are pretty good. He's got great physical tools. I think he's a good athlete but not amazing. I read Ford said we were down on him in his chat if I remember right. I think if he gets his mind right he could be Paul George... From 10-20 you could tell me any of those guys bust or become great and I wouldn't doubt it.

Oubre can be Paul George? Oubre standing reach is 8'6.5". George's standing reach is 8'11". George's size is what makes him so special. If he was Oubre's size he would be just another guy.
For reference Oubre is smaller than Burks, Hood and Hayward.

Probably not true, but if it is Lyles will most likely be there at 12. Don't know what it would take. Burks or Hood, #12, and a future first? For Winslow, Hezonja or WCS.According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, it's all about Kentucky's Trey Lyles: "While Towns and Willie Cauley-Stein have garnered the most attention, the Knicks for months have been enamored with Trey Lyles, according to a team source. Lyles is a 6'10" forward out of Indianapolis who Phil Jackson sees as a good fit for the triangle offense."
