Of course they would first have to beat France tomorrow which of course is very doubtful. France at full strength for the Olympics could definitely give US some problems.

Bennett was atrocious in last nights' game vs NZ.
Lyles playing pretty amazing considering no one else on Utah showed up to play.

Lyles doing work again, I see. Booker did well for the Suns today too, coming away with the win. I wonder how it would've gone if the Jazz went with Booker. I hope it's not one of those situations where we didn't select the better player agsin, like Paul George and Gordon Hayward. Yeah, Hayward is a very good player but George is an All-star though.

The way Lyles is shooting FTs might help him get more minutes during crunch time during the regular season. Seems like he's been around 90% the last 3 games.
You'd think that out of the 100 guys we worked out we could find 2 or 3 who could score the basketball.
Who is coming to Utah's summer league team when we have 0 roster spots open?
Now we just have to suck *** in pre-season and I'll be convinced we have made it.
Of course, if his defense doesn't improve...

Even if the Jazz dump Pleiss, Withey, Neto and Johnson, they're at 12 players. It's unlikely they find better options than Withey and Neto in Summer League, and Pleiss is owed $3mm this season (Neto's contract is also guaranteed). Not a great option for fringe prospects.
Wait, I guess Chris Johnson is only partially guaranteed? We could cut him and have one open spot. I'm guessing we cut him before his fully guarantee date and do the 10 day contract thing we do every year.

With Chris Johnson, the Jazz have 16 players. They have to cut someone just to get down to 15.
You don't think if someone blows us away in SL we wouldn't free up a roster spot?
