I think it's the other way around. He stays unless Boston improves their roster. The incumbent usually has an advantage. Utah is far more stable than Boston. Gobert is here for the long-term. We have a good young team that improves every year and will only keep improving. We may not have the same amount of assets to acquire another star but we have enough. Look at the Butler, CP3, Brook Lopez deals. It didn't take a ton to acquire those guys. Boston in the future is full of questions. Does IT stay past next year? How long can he play at his current level? Is Horford a long-term piece? Do Tatum and Brown develop into anything? Picks are great but how good will they really be?
