What's new

Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

OKC shot 38 free throws on the road, Miami shot 14 and only hit 8. OKC had 23 points more from free throws. They also made 9 more threes than Miami. Lol.

If the Nuggets lose tonight, the Jazz could lose its final two games and take the 6th seed, opening at Portland. We'd have the tie-breaker over NOLA, Minny or SAS.

Wouldn't be bad actually.

No, but that means that SA and NO would each have to drop a game. NO would have to win tonight, SAS would have to lose tonight (they'll probably beat the Kings to spite us) but then beat NO in the final game of the season.

Denver has a lot of talent but they play like a collection of morons. Awful shot selection. No one boxes out. Just ugly basketball.

Jokic has a ton of tools but sometimes he plays like Jokic is Serbian for Ostertag.

A shame we won't get NOLA, we would absolutely torch them.

Just so everyone is aware, we went 1-3 against OKC this season. Yes, we finished all of our games by Dec 23 but still their bench annoyed me.

Still could. If NO won out and we went 1-1 (and assuming OKC beats MEM), we'd have 4 and NO would have 5.

Buddy, if Denver wins tonight then Wednesday's game is gonna be arguably the biggest regular season NBA game in maybe a decade.

If they lose tonight and NO beats the Clips, they are cooked and the game against Minny is meaningless.

I still think it's funny how they somehow beat the Bucks.

OKC as the reward at the end of all this seems like a bad draw. But we are definitely capable of beating them.
Jazz will have a chance to write one of the greatest sports upset stories of all time.

First up is OKC with their MVP Westbrook + his super team of PG13 and Melo.

Followed by Golden State with their two MVP’s Curry and KD + their two other All Stars of Klay and Draymond + former finals MVP Iguadola.

Followed by the best team in the NBA - Houston with the (likely) current MVP Harden and his dynamic duet with CP3 in the Western Conference Finals.

And finally taking on Cleveland and their MVP (arguably the greatest player on the face of the earth) LeBron James + his super team with KLove and. . . ummm. . . George Hill and Rodney Hood?

A team with no All Stars knocking off 5 MVPs and multiple unbeatable super teams? It would be legendary. Donovan, Rudy, Quin and Jingles would be legends.

I don't think that's right - OKC would have 4, we would have 5 in that case

I think that's where we'd want 3 or more teams tied because that's when our stellar conference record would kick into play. I think we'd actually draw the Spurs if they won out.

But I don't know for sure. Wish there was a simulator that would let you check who wins and loses to know for sure.
