Yeah. Just not see that.Griz are not beating OKC
the question is: will OKC rest durrant and thompson vs the jazz? that's the question.

That is the question isn't it. I would at least expected limited minutes (<24) for them as this game means absolutely nothing to them.

OKC?
In case you don't want to follow the stream of consciousness above --here are the possible playoff scenarios
(Assuming that OKC beats Memphis for all of the scenarios below)
If we win out, we play OKC as the 3 vs. the 6
If we go 1-1 (doesn't matter which one), we play OKC as the 5 vs. the 4
If we go 0-2 we play the Blazers as the 6 vs the 3 IF (i) Denver beats Minnesota or (ii) Minnesota beats Denver AND Pelicans beat Spurs
Alternatively, if we go 0-2 we play the Warriors as the 7 vs the 2 if (i) Minnesota beats Denver and (ii) Spurs beat the Pelicans.
Does that make sense?
Yes, but again we could lose to the Warriors, beat Portland and pull 4 teams into a tie at 48 wins. We'd get the 3rd seed and play either the Thunder or Pels depending on whether the Pels beat the Spurs.
I like this much better. Give me the pelicans.
Again, I think we can get the 3rd seed even if we lose to Golden State, but we have to beat Portland. Utah, Portland, OKC and either Spurs/Pels would all be tied at 48 wins.
Utah has the best conference record.
Division winner gets the top seed in that scenario. Would Jazz have won the division?
Since the teams aren't all in the same division they have to look at conference record.
That's nuts!I saw that one, but I think the tiebreaker for playoff seeding would be determined by the records of the 4 teams against each other as a whole, with Utah coming out on top above OKC, Portland, and Spurs.
What's messed up is Utah would be the 3 seed, OKC would be the 6 seed, but OKC would have home court because home court advantage is determined by head-to-head record, not by playoff seeding.
