Potential or not, they blew.
Their offensive line blows, giving Bradford less time to target receivers and less time for WR to run routes.

Loaded at all the skill positions? Do you watch football? Their receivers are mediocre at best. Speed does not equate into awesomeness. And who in the hell are their tight ends?
Probably so. It's not bad to take a chance on Carson, but the price was WAY too high. Third-rounder at best and that should have been conditional. The more I think about it, the more I honestly believe Al Davis made this deal from the grave.
According to Yahoo sports, the Raiders have 3 wide receivers ranked in the top 50. Hayward-Bey, Moore, and Ford. I hardly call that mediocre at best. And since when are tight ends considered skill position players?
Like Archie said...everyone else here has pretty much the same view on this trade but you. Maybe you're the one that should watch some football before you run your mouth.
Only the Browns could knock out an opponent's QB, still lose and send 2 high picks to a division rival within 24 hours. Sheesh.

Cincy has been better than Pitts already this year. That team is a lot better than I thought they were going to be. Pissburgh is going to have a rough year behind that line.
Tom Brady would look like Rex Grossman if he played on the Rams. That team sucks. No O-line and that offensive structure is pathetic. What exactly are they trying to be?
I feel sorry for Bradford.
The points differential is +26 vs. +17 in favor of the 'gals. They beat the 9ers and Bills who have been killing it. Meanwhile your Steelers got their asses handed to them by Baltimore and just barely were able to pull out a win against the Colts. This season just doesn't look the same for them, last year's start really got them going. There is no way they let the Jags sniff a comeback last year.
BTW Cope if you were paying attention, at all, you would know I am not a Cincy fan. We have already talked about this. Have another cup of coffee.
This is an interesting perspective from the guy who drives the Alex-Smith-is-a-bust train.
What do you mean?
Oh please, I think what you're trying to do. don't even start with that nonsense. I, like most on this board, gave Alex a good 4 years before the bust stuff started. I think we all knew the niners were horrible. But even with pieces around him, Alex Smith doesn't look very good.
Give Bradford another year or two. Give him some more pieces. Then, we'll see what type of player he truly is.
Until then, stop taking cheap shots.

Cheap shots? Sorry. I didn't intend to hurt your feelings. I must have misinterpreted your constant harping on the subject for several seasons, and your apparent desire to remove him from football, bind him, and burn him at the stake, in front of the entire village, as an example.
My bad.
You need to give Harbaugh a call. You must see something he doesn't. I'm sure he could use your insight.
Huh?
Have you seen his stats?
The resurrgence or Frank Gore combined with that dominate defense and better O-line and a competent HC is what's turning the niners around. It isn't just Alex.
I waited more than just two years to name Alex a bust. Give Bradford the same standard you're holding Alex.
Speaking of hurt feelings, you're the one that brought up Alex Smith when talking about Bradford. Seems like you're the one with hurt feelings. Bitter much?
