Why wouldn't I? I don't win anything for tricking people. I'm all for honest discussion.Glad you're owning up to it.
I understand I can be overly aggressive at times, and realize that that sort of behavior isn't conducive to a good discussion. I try to be honest, and apologize when I've gone too far with my attacks (although this doesn't hold when the attacks are in response to unprovoked, inappropriate attacks or, occasionally, when I'm arguing with someone I feel is generally dishonest and unfair). I try to stay flexible, and change my mind when presented with a compelling argument.
I'd love to see Big Al come back in shape and ready to kick *** whenever basketball resumes. Truly. It's much easier to fix a log jam of productive players than unproductive players (in terms of what can be had on the trade market).
With all that said, I think Paul Millsap has proven that he is one of the best role players in the NBA. Is he, or will he ever be, a superstar? Probably not, but you can expect efficiency, hard work, toughness and very smart team play from him consistently. He's worth (relatively speaking) every dollar he makes.
I'm not sold on Big Al being the star he's paid to be. If he were able to fit in as a very good role player, that wouldn't be such a problem, but he hasn't shown nearly the same ability as Millsap to fit a winning role on a winning team for a whole season. If he either gets a lot more efficient offensively or becomes a better team basketball player, he could be a keeper for sure, as he certainly can do some things that good basketball teams need (and that Paul Millsap isn't best at).
