I say this every year, but..... the NBA as a league is dominated by the 6'8" / 220-lb. triple-threat wing. The reason is because they can do everything. They can defend multiple positions, grab a rebound, drive the ball, get to the rim, get an open look from 3pt, get a look from mid-range, and get in the key and make almost any pass on the floor. The game is just made for this type of player.
Look at Gordon Hayward. His dribble was pretty basic. His first step was pretty average. He was a good shooter, not a great shooter. He was a good passer, not a great passer. He could get to the rim, but he wasn't a skywalker. But Hayward impacted every play because he was that prototypical 6'8" / 220-lb wing with ball skills.
The Jazz haven't had that since Hayward left, and that's the guy I'd want to put on the floor between Mitchell and Gobert. Right now, Ingles is kind of a middling imitation of that player. The Jazz need a real one.
