The year is 2027 and the Jazz have Alijah Arenas and Dylan Harper and both their fathers constantly complain about them being on the Jazz for the next 7 years.
There's usually some chaos after the 3rd pick. Picking 5th could be enough to get a real one and there's only one way to assure that slot. This is shaping up to be a 4 player draft. We need a top-4 pick badly.
It's not a 4 player draftThis is shaping up to be a 4 player draft. We need a top-4 pick badly.
You know what I mean. There is a clear tier drop in my eyes after the top-4.It's not a 4 player draft
It's a 1 player draft and then like 2-5 players. You know what I mean. There is a clear tier drop in my eyes after the top-4.
Lol, I think it's a 2 player draft with 5 to 6 guys after that.It's a 1 player draft and then like 2-5 players.
I think it’s a 2-player draft with 2 really good guys after.Lol, I think it's a 2 player draft with 5 to 6 guys after that.
Have to say, Egor doesn't look as good when he's not playing against future finance bros. I like him a lot, but looking a little heavy footed.

I guess let me clarify that players that raise the play of those around them are what vault teams up the tiers. I'm a little worried Harper and Bailey are heavy on empty calories and that Flagg might just not be all that great (his best attribute is that he's ~a year younger than everyone else, his play never jumps off the screen to me).Fit is the same as last year. The only player truly worth considering is Lauri, and he can play with anyone. Walker is arguable given his play, but there's not really a center at the top. Ain't no way I'm having any other player on the roster influence my decision.
no. he put up huge block numbers in HS and international play. he was a legit shot blocking "expert" as you say. i think he's underwhelming at this level because his length and athleticism are doing him no favors. we won't know until the combine, but i hope nobody is surprised when he measures 6'8" with a 6'10" WS.Flagg is more of a helpside blocker. Those highlight blocks come and go. But they look awesome on Youtube, so people remember them and Flagg gets a reputation as a swat expert.
He's not like Kessler.
Well said on this paragraph. If Egor just isn't very good then he just isn't very good. But giant guards have game-breaking power when they're great. And on a team with no one that reliably creates good looks for others and a bunch of players that live off ball, it's all the more floor-raising. But yes, we should probably assume at this point that we're starting with a blank slate.

Who?CMB hit another 3. He's pretty much a sniper now. Already has 9 rebounds.
