Nash has interest in Utah?

Actually .. Cy is one of the better posters here.

I agree with you. The only thing that I will point out is that he plays devils advocate most of the time. Not that doing so is bad, but it is ok to agree with the thought that is being followed rather than always fighting everything.

Nash's biggest value comes in helping develop Favors for the P&R. Harris played well at the end of the season, but he's not a big P&R guy...never will be. Nash also brings leadership (which we desperately need) and the ability to bring along a younger PG for a couple of years. Nash may not grow with the team, but he could help the team grow. Might be just what we need and he's still playing at a very high level. He would be a great fit here. Let him retire here and then make him the PG coach. :)

Yes lets sign him to 10 mil per year and give up on signing a top FA for 3 years

If we signed him to 3 at 10, we'd lose all of 1.5 million next year when we can't spend anyway. For the next 2 years after that, who could we sign that would give us better value than Nash at 10 per year? This is a guy who's missed 30 games in a decade. An absolute lock for 50/40/90 as a guard. 10 assists are a given. And he's only posted an under 20 PER once in his career (19).

Not to mention how profitable it would be to the Jazz's bottom line despite a 10 million dollar salary. I can't think of something with more bang-for-the-buck for those three years than signing Nash (within reason).

Which is why I'd pay him more. Just win the auction.

One of the reasons I want to sign Nash is that he will have (hopefully) a young PG to mold. Have to wait and see what the lottery brings us...

In all honesty, I'd be more thrilled to sign Nash, than Harden. Obviously, Harden is a potential perennial All-Star, but I feel like Nash could just completely change the career of Derrick Favors, while furthering the development of Kanter, Hayward, and Burks.

Think of what Stoudemire's career would be like if he never played with Nash. Plus, we have Hayward and Burks as potentially acclimating to players like Harden. Couple that with with Nash and Favors running the P&R, and the scenario just makes my pants wet

I strongly disagree.

What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic statements I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to something that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for reading your post. I award you no rep points and may god have mercy on your soul. Harden>Nash all day.
